New Grower auto not auto-ing

Hey everyone, quick curiosity question.
Im about 5 weeks into some diesel ryders, one hull didnt release during germ and required intervention. It looks really healthy and growth is starting to pick-up but it has remained stunted, slow growing and has not shown sex. The others showed on schedule (19-21 days) and are easily 3-4 times larger. All other conditions have been the same for all. Any ideas? or is it just "one of those things?".
Out of 10 DR's (a year or 2 old), 3 were duds. Of the remaining 7 one female, one male, one unknown and the last 4 just popped. Using BS240 for flower, cfl for veg and soil (TLO theory). Thanks

Ahaaaaaaaa,

Hello Aeryn, I knew I would run into this again. check this out. After you water, poke your small finger down into the soil about an inch, gently. Keep an eye on your plant, if it tilts when you push down, that is your tap root growing sideways. Keep going around the plant and see if you can find it. Then try to gently push it to the bottom, filling the hole with soil when complete. Otherwise, your tap root will grow to the side of the pot first, then grow down. This seriously hurt my yields before.

Not saying it is the reason for stunting, but I know I have had this particular trouble before.

I was having the same problem with a diesel ryder... So you werent the only one and ive read it before too.
