Hey Pop, GoAuto, B6, Sniper, and K.I.M!
Thanks guys for the responses!
...eventually in an RDWC system.
Yep, this is for my commercial hydro plan once we get legal. I'll be starting in the 4x4x7 Lighthouse with 800w HID and working my way up to bigger systems as I go along. Maybe a CCH2O, but i'd really like to squeeze in more plants per square foot than that will allow, so I'll probably build my own. I'll probably stay with HID for a while as the new ballasts draw next to nothing and are very efficient. Man, was I surprised to see the starting current on the 400w was only 1.8 amps and the running current was almost unmeasurable with the ammeter I used! Very little effect on the electric bill. Part of this is so I can put the most plants under a single light fixture. Efficient use of space and resources.
Meanwhile back to the strains...
Now they can be taller varieties (4' max I expect) as long as their horizontal profile is small and don't need "staking" when mature. I just assume that a slimmer variety would be of shorter stature. I'd like try and run at least 6 per tub (or more) in 3" net pots.
Here's the size I'd like to use.
