Grow Room Auto Wembley - Newb behind the wheel !

I can spot a few potential problems. Your cotyledons seem to be going yellow (and crisp?) which usually indicates that the soil is too hot. Understandable since worm castings are very rich in nutrients.

The soil is looking very wet which is not ideal. Let it dry before watering any more and only water a tiny bit for the first few weeks. That way she won't be deprived of oxygen.

Your soil doesn't seem to have perlite which is good but looks like there's some sand in there which is generally considered bad for MJ.

You must get some nutrients sooner rather than later so you're prepared. I recommend BioBizz grow & bloom. Organic goodness. Another thing I'd do if I were you is transplant them in bigger pots. Those tiny pots aren't going to allow you reach the plants' full potential (unless really small plants are your intention). You may wanna consider getting some soil that has perlite in it. At least 30%. Transplant the plants in the bigger pots filled with the enhanced soil after they show sex and you're golden.

You're a few days behind but fortunately at this point that doesn't really matter as long as you have time to wait. Patience is key. Best of luck!

Thank you for the info. Yea soil got hot temp in box jumped up to 90 F. I havent made intake and exhaust ports yet. Was keeping the door open and running a fan in there. Wife shut the door on it. Good call on the temp. My height is about 25 inches to grow. So I will get some bigger pots. Can I go wider vs taller pots?

Hey xcodesx. Your looking good. There are alot of examples of people having great grows with CFL's. That is how I started as well. As summer approached and temps started to rise I had problems with controlling temperatures in my closet. I switched to a small cheap mars-hydro LED and it solved my temperature problem. Just my two cents.

Hey thanks, yea temps are getting high and hard to control. might look into the led. Any links to some for a beginner?

I was actually referring to hot soil as in nutrient burn hot, but 90 is a bit too hot without proper fresh air flow with high levels of CO2. Well spotted!
I suppose wider would work although it's a largely debated subject and many believe height is more important for autoflowering plants. I'd just say volume in general is good.

She might live after all.

I Lost a couple of my soldiers in my battle to find my green thumb. In the pic on the left is Auto Wembley(smaller) right is Auto Lowryder(considerably larger. thought it would be the smaller). So the wembley is the plant I started with and I guess it got so stressed it stunted its growth. This plant almost died in the germination and this soon after as a small sprout. About 15 or so days into growing the Wembley I planted 3 Lowryders. 2 of the lowryders died a tragic death, when someone closed my grow box all the way and the temp spiked up to 115 f. I replanted the wembley into a bigger pot after the 2 lowryders died. These 2 survived and are really starting to take off. The lowryder is kicking the wembley's butt, in all fairness tho I am sure I stunted the wembley's growth.

Ok so now for some questions. My temp stays around 81 F-88 F humidity is always 40+. Is this temp range ok? The plants dont seem to mind it. Any pointers or ideas welcome. If you can zoom in have a look and see if you can see any problems with my plants. All help is appreciated. I also was thinking of taking a couple clones from these to get 4 plants in there. Any ideas on when would be a good time or should I just do it now?

Thanks for looking.
