Hi growers.so im gna fix.perfectsun goliath 1000.iv got her in bits.and iv found the problem.18 burned out diodes.what are the best long lasting 5w diodes to buy?? Any help appreciated.thanks growers.

What do ya mean bro? Cant I just buy any 5w diodes and solder them on?

There must be a million different diodes size shape, voltage, wattage spectrum ETC. are all variables along with the manufacturers as well.
You might be able to use a 5 w resister to fill the space and make the electrical characteristics correct for the remaining Leds?

Iv tried findimg the exact chips.but not easy.cleaned all.dust and put goliath back together.now have power to the light right across the board.but not all working .i removed the reflectors of any burned out leds i.could see.but even some.leds that look fine not working.and some.are flickering on.and off?

Think now found replacement chips.think there same as what @MarshydroTina. Use in there lights.5w bridglux epistar.on.ebay in the listing selling 5w chips.in the info says can replace 5w chips.on mars hyrdro lights and other panels.im gna order some.replace them.see if any change.happy growing every1

Thanks bro seems a waist.when now got power across the board.i now know what leds are used in these panels.so just gna replace them.then go from there.hopfully soon be up and running.happy growing every1
