my old mans using the pc to ask a question now

i have 2-300 small SOG plants and being 67 im unable to watere them all as much as i used to so there geting splashed and burnt alot,

a young guy siad ask online they have watering systems for soil that can turn on 1nce a day and water all of them in 1 go from the water butt,

but i cant find anything like this online, loads of variations but nothing like it... how can i do this?

im after more of a kinda like blue matts, like if i was to hook a 100 piece manifold to a mj1000 and fedf 15 mins 1nce a day, but i dont think preassure would be there

What about using a home irrigation system(used for garden lawns and flower beds).
Set timer to x minutes every x days(depending on pot size and climate temps)
Have a reduction valve(simple tap) to drip feed your plants.
Could be used with water mains or reservoir of ph & nute ready for watering. Only need a small water pump that is activated by a garden timer to water plants from reservoir.
A small/cheap garden pond pump should do the job well.
Your son could fill the reservoir weekly for you. Great for when away for a few weeks and return to a larger plant.

issue with drip irrigation is pressure....so sizing the pump is important..using a submersible in a 50 gallon bucket.,..the drip system mostly assume household pressure, so you will have some trouble achieving that depending on elevation changes and the length of the runs, and theres a lot of tuning it

sounds like a simpler solution would be some simple 3/4" or 1 1/2" aquarium hose with a length for each plant, one end twist tied to the base of the plant or rim of the pot...get a funnel and hit each hose with the water that way, you'll just have to fetch up the end of each hose ( you could attach them all to central point on your end..then insert funnel into # 1 hose, # 2 hose and so on until you have delivered a dose to wach plant..low tech, but cheap, quick and simple

Your water pressure would hold if you used a drip system.

issue on pressure is not will it hold....issue is if you use a makeshift reservoir, ( like a 50 gal bucket) and a pump...you need to achieve the correct pressure for the drip heads sprayers etc to operate properly, and its very hard to get them to be "even" from pot to pot when you us ea small pump, the minimum pressure required for the head to beahcve normally for adjusting is usually too high...of course if you can hook a line up to the household system....then you're good, the equipment will behave like its supposed to outdoors using the household water supply...my assumption is this is a small grow

ok so i have say 150 plants on each side (loft) loft being about 35ftx16ft
my rez is 113litre

what could i do?
i cant trip over laods

my idea was 24mm pipe x2 down the sides and drip lines in that x 150 with rings aroudn each pot, a 1000lph on aa timer 15 mins say a day?

could test a few into bottles to adjust time ad put 250ml each aday?

MITE I ADD IM IN CANADA using a tor relay
