IF you have decided to start your cleanse, drop all of your nutes and just feed plain water (i ph adjust mine - some people dont) and yeah, watering to run off is good practice as it pushes leftover salts and minerals though the soil.
ok and just one last thing, i thought you said leave the leafs to get more yellow befor flushing?
so dont mean to be rude or anything but what is it do a wait give another feed of nutes so gives time for me leafs to turn.... or do i check the hairs like what was said by tang ?
or is it a mix of both ?
So - you can go by the leaves and follow Muddys guide. It's in a sticky at the top of new growers forums, or follow the advice on the trichomes (that you look at throught the loup)
alright sweet thanks for your help much appreciated, i'll try get a veiw on them but i dont think 30X loop is good enough but were see, thinking about it i need to get one of those 100X ones with a light
your 30 is fine I have a 30 and 100x - the 100x sits in the draw - 30x is much more convenient to get a general view (for me anyway)
It takes a bit of playing to get the right distance to see the trichs, but once you have, it's like learning to ride a bike. you'll be able to pull out the loupe and go "there they are!" pretty instantly!
alright sweet thanks for your help much appreciated,
we've misunderstood some stuff but after being clearly told i now know what you mean, and my friend has checked it and he says that the top cola looks pretty much all milky and the rest of the branchs are leaning towards milky goodness. so i beleive the next feed should be that start of the cleansing process right ?
Good look with the grow bro. Have you looked at the trichome maturity? Some go by the leaves but I prefer to watch the trichomes....I start to flush when I have 10-20% Amber.
This is no joke, for my first 2 grows I did not know the difference between Pistols and Trichs :/ and harvested early the first 2 full grows lol I would say wait until you see a few that are amber. Trichs go from clear to milky to amber. When people are saying that the yellowing leaves will make it more of a couch lock high it is really the trichromes developing and the terrepines ripining inside the head of the trichrome. It's not the yellowing leaves that give a different high it is the development of the trichromes
