Hi guys

I'm looking to run an autopot set up with Coco/perlite and wanting to run the full house and garden range (incl amino&root exceletator)

Has anyone tried this set up before as I'm concerned about sediment settling at the bottom of resivoir

I thought a decent water pump to keep things moving should sort it?

If it ain't soluble, I don't put it in my tank. I've never done anything more than give the tank a stir with a paddle once in a while, maybe every day or two. It also gets mixed up if I top up with more nute mix. I have never run an air stone or pump to stir the tank. I have heard others run into problems with pH instability apparently caused by air stones, so I would not stir the tank with one of those.

H&G has nutes designed for coco, so they should work fine as long as they are soluble and stay in solution. If they don't stay in solution, they are not good for the autopot system, in my opinion. Anything that precipitates out in the reservoir would leave your nute mix unbalanced, and that leads to trouble. You are going to need calibrated EC/PPM and pH meters. Don't start without both. I learned this the hard way.

Make sure that your coco is buffered, or if it isn't, buffer it yourself.

If you haven't already, study the information at cocoforcannabis.com before you grow in coco. I spent quite a bit of time there before starting my coco grows, and it was time well spent. The authors of the site know their stuff.
Good luck with it. :pighug:

Yeah I'm going to have to look up the buffering for sure

What's your thoughts on running the Canna range in an auto pot set up?

My only concern would be the canna boost being too thick (it's a heck of alot thinner than any of the house&garden range)
