:helpme:Hey guys. I have seen and heard and read some differing opinions and results on this and thought it was a pretty relevant question.

Some say their Auto buds are generally airy and lose their denseness after drying.
Is this true?
What results are you guys getting VS Photos are far as bud density?

And if it is true, if anyone can explain as to why, that would also be cool.

Ok go.

Thanks AFN. I may end up adding a poll, not sure yet.

I don't see any difference indoors but outside photos seem to deal a little better with low light situations. Given full day light autos do fine outside.

So you are getting finished buds after the dry that are hard, dense nugs?

the autos ive grown that are suposed to be dense are infact dense , but ive crossed them to dense photo's and WTF they became somewhat airy , and this is with a few different combinations of autos X photos , and visa versa

peace

I don't do well with photos at all but my medusas fruit has 2 different phenos,1 is tall and lanky and produces light airy buds while the short version puts out rock hard nugs and solid bat like colas. Now even tho the stretchy airy budded pheno is like that it is just as potent if not more so according to some then its dense tight nugged sister pheno.

All my autos so far have had nice tight nugs except one or two and I acredit that to not enough lite during flowering because I had them to crowded.I think that bud density can be a charicteristic of the strain, but I think a lot to do with bud development is the strentgh of the lights, and usually lack of light causes flufy nugs, and ample light equates to bigger and tighter flowers.:smokebuds:

I agree with namvet. Airy nugs are usually caused by poor light penetration. :smokebuds:

I see that Muddy came by, but just agreed with you guys for the most part so it seems. Cool cool, makes sense. But I have one friend in particular that is definitely not lacking in light so not sure. Thanks guys! Keep it coming.
