So we all know I am disappointed with the strain, no need to revisit this.
I will say though, the effect is VERY good from what I did get from the plant. The energizing sativa influence is definitely there. There is no couch lock whatsoever. I found myself wanting to read, which of course proved futile. Then I thought I should fire up the xbox, but that proved pretty much useless as well.
I admit to vaping one toke over the line just to get the max effects. The onset was a little racy, which I do not really like (thought's and impressions rushing through one's mind) and this could have very easily turned into full blown paranoia had I continued to fill another vapor bag... This left fast however, and what remained was very enjoyable.
The flavor, even though it was uncured, was very agreeable. I can't really compare it to anything, it wasn't berry, citrus, or pine. It has it's own unique fragrance.
The scent was sharp after grinding, more than other buds usually are. This probably has something to do with the fact that it wasn't cured but I will say that after grinding the chlorophyll scent was entirely gone. Interesting variety.
Most has been harvested now, will probably get enough to fill one pint mason jar (usually I get two or three from one plant).
I will let the plant grow for two more weeks or so to make sure my seeds are ripe on the bottom branches. Look forward to seeing what I get from them.
In the meantime I have started two fem Northern Lights X Big Bud in yet another attempt at reversing one with CS and pollinating the other. I bought Tiresias mist but after that bottle is gone I will just be mixing 3cc's of 500 ppm colloidal silver and filling the rest of the one ounce bottle with distilled water. This should give me a 50 ppm solution. I hope it works this time, my other attempt was a failure but it wasn't from the CS, there were some issues with the plant itself. I feel I have corrected these problems. I will be changing one plant entirely, instead of just one branch as the Tiresias mist label states. The colloidal silver master Bob has warned myself and others about possible hermie issues with partial reversals. I also feel that the company that makes the mist has something in the application. Most people spray the plant until runoff when using CS. The instructions on the bottle state to spray only the main branch of what you are trying to change. This more exact spraying of the budding sites may indeed be the missing link to success and failure. Time will tell!! I look forward to posting some results from this experiment in another thread at the proper time.
Thanks for following me on this one, it has been an interesting ride!!
