you could always cut the light hours down a bit... what are you running atm?
Mine has been growing 14 weeks now! I thought it was something I was doing (had a week with accidental overheating) but now am convinced this is just the strain...
Note there was indeed some heat damage to some leaves from a malfunctioning heater. This was found quick and corrected and the plant only suffered damage to some of the fan leaves of the main cola. No other growth problems at all. Here is a top pic of a bud that received no damage:
some breeders havent fully tested out their strains for 100% auto... it takes several generations to get a fully auto plant from a cross...
Do you have a grow journal on AFN for these?
What kind of lights are you using? What are your temperatures in the tent? Do you have temp fluctuations? What size pots, what kind of growing medium, what kind of nutrients are you using and at what strengths, feeding schedule?
Would definitely take jm's advice and try lowering the lights-on period; I've seen a few grows documented where the "auto trait" didn't quite pull through and they had to be flowered like regular photo strains on a 12/12 schedule. Would be worth a shot, at least!
There are a lot of things that can affect a plant's ability to flower, like environment, temperature, light schedule, etc.
Could you explain the heat damage situation to us? It might help explain what's happening with your plant. On my last photo grow; I had a light/heat problem with one of my plants where it grew into the light. Burned the crap out of the cola, then the excessive heat burned out a bunch of the growth on the underside. Lesson learned, but I let it grow on along with some other plants. I had fixed the problem, but the old growth never fixed itself. Luckily; new growth started filling in over the old stuff, but I had caused a lot of heat stress damage to the plant and ultimately it didn't yield for crap.
I've never grown their genetics and I'm not affiliated with them at all; I just think we should explore all the variables before making any hasty decisions on the quality of a strain.
Anyways; I hope your grow works out for you bro, good karma and vibes!

I have done as suggested and switched to 12/12. I am thinking that since the strain is new for 2013 there probably was some some development in the autoflowering trait that was simply overlooked, or at least that is what I am hoping...
