So this is my first grow in a little while, and I'm going to harvest today. It wasn't perfect by any means, but now that it's completed it's jogged my memory of the "old days" and next time around should be much more promising.

I should clearly state upfront the results in no way are due to genetics. If anything, the genetics were the only thing that were my saving grace. So thanks Dinafem. I'll do you justice next time around.

So what went wrong you ask? There's a list, lol.

1) Instead of my usual soil mix I used Fox Farms Ocean and supplemented with Gen Hydro Organic nutes... Burned her right off the back by going a little too heavily.

2) She slowly rebounded a week or two later only to have me attempt the FIM and somehow missed my mark.

3) The FIM attempt likely started a bit of shock, and postponing watering one day sent it over the edge. It was limp for a week if not two and I almost considered throwing her out.

Luckily, by the grace of the ganja gods she managed to rebound yet again and really took off the following weeks. So much so that I ran out of room in my tent. So I pinched her. Also unhinged my light (90w A51 LED) and angled it to allow just enough head room for her. Rotated her regularly to share the light.

During the later half of the grow, my PC exhaust died so I upgraded to a Hurricane inline fan and Phresh carbon scrubber. Mounted across the top connected, but not well enough as it came crashing down. After the two didn't mesh well together, but still worked fine, so I just left it on the floor. Which explains partially why my 2x2x3 tent looks so "special". Soon I plan to pick a few brains here to build a 2x2x5-ish DIY locking cab which will better suit my needs, I believe.

Anywho, that's how we got here. Oh yeah, she's at 65 days...Wanted to push her to 77-80. There's some life circumstances however that are forcing me to bring her down immediately however after only flushing 8 days ago. Adding another layer to this onion'esque grow.

We'll chalk this one up to a learning experience. Nonetheless though I'll give a final weight and smoke report after dry and cure.

Next time around the plan is a new cab, and my first hobby breeding experiment.

Hey weed you ever thought about growing in coco? I too had alot of issues with ffof soil burning my plants. Since switching I have had alot better results.

the only time I will be easy is when I'm killed by death

I'm open to it @flynfish I plan to extensively reading through the mediums section before the next grow.

I previously just used a mix of vermiculite, perlite, moss, and top soil along with nutes & had no issues. I've always heard good things on Coco too though. Thanks for chiming in.

No worries. I like the coco but am moving to dwc next grow.
