Thanks for following Griever.

Sorry I've been terrible with the posts/updates, but I've been stacked with this school term...

We're on day 69 today! (If my brain serves me correctly, the seeds went into the ground around the 13th or 14th of August, -- so tomorrow (or today) is day 70!

I pulled off a couple large fan leaves that were protruding from the stalk in hopes of getting some more light on the baby popcorn buds toward the middle of the plant. Also, those leaves were yellowing a bit...

I've been having the same problem -- some fans turning lime coloured, then yellow, to brown and crusty (pictures to be attached). I'm wondering now if this is from a deficiency rather than a nutrient toxicity? Hopefully my crapberry smartphone can take some nice pictures for you guys to give a good idea.

I'm not sure when to harvest this guy; I see a decent amount of amber hairs, but also lots of pistils sticking out as well -- and I'm wondering if there's still lots of potential to bud up over the next couple weeks?

My watering schedule isn't too technical. I pretty much rotate between pure water and water with flowering formula in it every other watering, and tend to give her a good soaking a couple times a week (only after the top of the soil feels dry). My nutes are Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Bloom -- 2-3-5. Should I be using this EVERY watering? I was trying to give it 5mls, but it seemed that is when my yellowing started -- so I thought it to be nute burn.

I am really struggling with the measurements, ha ha...Seems like the back of the bottle says way too much. I hope to get it down to a science soon... Next grow I won't be as lax, and will dedicate a log book to my feeding schedule.

Next grow should be some Auto White Widow (Dinafem), but I have my last Barney's seed in stretch right now -- Little Cheese, so I'll have to exhaust that one before I have space for the Widow unfortunately.

And the pictures!

(burned tips are from my light being too close -- I've upped it since, but how far away do you guys think it should be for a 240w LED in flower?)

I think I'm just gonna keep flushing the shit out of it and harvest next week around day 75 or so.

Some nicer pictures -- Day 78

Hey guys, here we are at day 78. I've just been flushing with plain water now.

Sorry about the blurry pics; I'm gonna get a digital camera soon (if my pocketbook allows for it)...
Here's some nicer pics from my girlfriend's phone.

I'm not sure when I should axe her down; I was thinking maybe the end of week 11, since it seems like there's some fattening potential still -- but there's loads of amber hairs already, so maybe I should think about it sooner?

I cut off a few bottom (tiny) branches that had really small buds on them. They're not getting that much light, and since I've been out of smoke for a while (and wanted some to accompany candy and Halloween movies!), I decided to snip a very small amount and start drying. Though it'll be a bit fresh, we'll see how it tastes!..

Thanks for followin'!!

EDIT....agggh I'm challenged apparently and didn't rotate the pictures...Derp... Gonna repost them with a 90 degree flip...

Sorry folks, I haven't been posting since I haven't had a good way to take pictures!

One thing I also forgot to mention is that this plant was grown using OLD soil... I didn't then have the means to get the soil I wanted, so I just reused what I had from the last plant I grew. It seemed to work OK, but I suspect that this is also how a family of Thrips were introduced to the plant towards the end of the grow because this old soil was outside for a period....
Harvesting and cleaning the grow space fixed that problem and I also got some Neem Oil for next time.

It dried for maybe a week and then got thrown into a jar. I ended up with 30g dry. I'm not sure how that chalks up, but it's lasted almost two months for me -- so I'm happy!!

The stench of the buds are a very strong, sharp, and skunky smell which can't seem to be contained to the jar...
The smoke:
I feel like I've grown a bit tolerant to it now, but the smoke on the first try felt pretty strong and pretty much a complete body-stone without too much of a cerebral effect. It also tastes nice in the vape, very fruity but I don't know whether I'd call it "grape" for sure. The effect in the vape doesn't feel as 'full', I guess, as the smoke does.

I'd say that this would be a good strain for pain, and would probably work really well in edibles. Those red hairs are a plenty and they pretty well cover all the green. Very medicating!! I'm not at all disappointed and would recommend it.
