Hey guys, I figured I'd post up a couple pics of my latest harvest -- Grape Muerte by Barney's (auto) in a DWC bucket. This was my first attempt with deep water culture and I definitely made some mistakes along the way which stunted the growth of the plant, but now I know what not to do next time! She didn't get the TLC she deserved because my living situation is a bit strange and I'm not always around my place....But I still changed the reservoir every couple weeks and made sure everything was clean.
I ran it underneath a 300w LED and another 240w for side lighting. It seems that a couple buds on the side that was right near my 240w side light got really purpley/almost brown looking(?) but I sliced 'em open and the insides are nice and green. At first I was worried about budrot, but that happens from the inside and grows outward, correct? I am wondering if this change in colour is due to the fact that they were being pounded by the side light, or perhaps a natural effect (since it's advertised as a GRAPE strain?). I don't see anything that looks powdery/fluffy/moldy-looking at least!...Just purpley/brown sugar leaves and green on the inside.
I just chopped it down today and it was planted at the end of February.
Excuse the cruddy picture quality! When they dry a bit more I'll hijack the girlfriend's camera and get some better ones!...I'm about ready to skip the old blackberry across the pond....
Have a great weekend folks!

EDIT : Also, that third pic is of the bud sliced open -- shows fluffy green inside, but a purply/brown outside -- I think pic 4 shows it best (but that's not saying much
