THANKS!! So cool seeing that all blown up!! :D

And thanks again, GoAuto6! I appreciate it! :smokeit:

nice garden! the flowers are looking good sapphire!

Thanks sofa! :booya:

Thanks a420er! Yes they sure love the sunshine! :smoke:

I know I'm lucky to be able to grow outside with the climate I live in, but also that it's California and this is a medical garden. Thanks to the Sun we save a lot on the power bill, and I won't get hauled off to jail for growing my medicine. Wish it was like that for everyone, truly!!

:buds:Oooh-hoo-hooh,...MAMA! :brow: That centerfold blow-up pic is quite the juicy eye-full! (thanks GoAuto) Seeing them from a different perspective is nice, and Cracky! are those really the same plants form 10 days ago?! From a distance, many of them are unrecognizable as Mj plants, huh! I see a few are starting to shut down some of the older sun leaves,...a good sign that they're entering the home stretch. I think my RRF's are starting this as well,... Things must be getting mighty smelly-good out there, Sapphire :D A few really cold nights lately forced me to bring the whole lot indoors, and man, let's just say the air was,..perfumed! (LOL!) Do you have a strong magnifier glass yet? This is essential for inspecting the trichomes and gauging their progress toward ripeness; something around 10x should do the trick. If not, let me know and I'll set up a link to the place where I got my pocket 2-lens folder,... perfect for the job! ***** That lummox in the back left is the BlimBurned unit, right? Sheesh! ...think they got a little genetic drift in that strain line or what? Well, no sex news could still be good news, right? (At least when discussing plants,... *giggady!*) Off to hang with the photo gang then,... **** Gaah! The mini-locust plague just won't quite, ay? .... trouble is, they're so mobile, that even if you could smoke every single JBN's in the whole yard, more will just move right on in, right away.... I'm having an similar battle with the occasional thrip (more on that at my thread),...Another good thing, as the buds ripen and build up those trichomes, the plant becomes less and less palatable to vermin in general; my guess is that the locusts will favor leaf over bud for food,... maybe! :face:- lucky you to keep getting the ones that do! (budworm) ... They must die anyway, right? :firedevil: Mmmm, smooshy,.... unsavory yet oddly satisfying work huh! :roflcry: **** I keep forgetting to look up azamax; BTW I'm trying a Spinosad product, and I like what I see so far,... interesting stuff,...it's made from an obscure rare bacterium that has the namesake compound in it, a type of neurotoxin only bugs, including caterpillars, are sensitive to; this is great because it can be sprayed anywhere on the plant and not cause harm, totally nonreactive, and it's food safe/organic....so, just in case....:joint: **** I'm looking forward to seeing how your photo chicks do! Meanwhile, revel in the glory of those sparkly smelly-good ladies! I love doing that, holding up one just right to the sun, for shameless oogling! :boob: Fun stuff girl!! :booya:

****** (10 min later) LOL! I somehow missed your post at my place :joint: Pardon the overlap!....

Hey waira! :smoke:

There are yellow leaves on just a few plants in the lower fan leaves, yes, so INDEED we are heading into the home stretch. :D:dance2: Already 9 weeks tomorrow I think. As predicted by so many, looks like they really could go another month or so especially since some are not yellowing at all yet - I forget how long the process took on my photos last year... In any case I will be letting them go until they are ready - not even checking trichomes yet.

Yep I have a little hand-held microscope with a light, starts at 60x I think. Freaking coolest thing ever! :check::thumbs:

I had to order the spinosad product thru amazon! No local stores seem to carry it! I mean they can order it and "ship to store" but I got a better deal (and faster delivery) thru amazon. I LOVE how safe it is - and get this - I read people saying not to use it if you want to attract butterflies to your garden... Well I'd LOVE those beautiful, flying, budworm-laying *expletive*s to stay AWAY from my photos, so I may be able to prevent the budworms without the mosquito net! :firedevil:

:buds:Oooh-hoo-hooh,...MAMA! :brow: That centerfold blow-up pic is quite the juicy eye-full! <<snip>>

Well good, now I don't feel so ridiculous for doing the same thing on your thread!

Pics coming up next! I'll be looking for your latest update soon tooooo! :smokebuds::head:

Looking great sapphire wish I had your weather :slap:

Thanks! :D I checked out your thread too, and I don't see any pics, but I see people responding to them... Wonder if it's my mac... lol

Thanks for stopping by!

ALLrighty then....

Only had energy to take group pics today, although I think they are worthy of individual portraits! ;)

I feel like they just look the SAME. Except for the yellowing lower fan leaves on a few... The buds are fattening up very nicely on the Amnesia & AKR! I don't think the Pineapple Express are going to be big yielders this time. Hazes are growing, but not quite as fat as the other two...

PE, AKR, OA, H2

That's about it for today! Hope you are all having a great weekend!

ALLrighty then....
LOL! Okay, Fire Marshall Marsha.....lemmme showya sumthin'!! :cough: ...I think you might be pullin' a couple girls up in a couple weeks, S' :D As usual with auto's, everything is on fast-forward, including ripening! The pace of yellowing is picking up with my RRF's and UV's, too,...(more about those wretches @ my thread later). It looks like the H2's are starting sooner than I would have guessed, given it's Sativa %, while the AKR's, with their indica lineage, look like they're in no real hurry- I'da bet them to finish first! :joint::shrug: Never a dull moment with these auto's, huh! One thing's for sure, they're chunking up very nicely indeed,.... I like the Dr. Seuss-eske pom-pom buds on the PE's! No, not good for yield, but fun to look at, and I'll bet the nugs will be yummy... Ya know, from a distance Sarah doesn't look so bad (dumb- LOL!)....
That magnifier starts at 60X? Nice,... but doesn't it drive you nuts trying to use it on live plants? Just breathing while looking through it must make the image jiggle and shift around, and make your eye balls go wonky! I have a single piece jewelers lens that nearly makes me sea-sick while crouching over a plant to have a look at the trich's (LOL!) That's why I got the folder pocket lens...... Nice score on the new death spray! There's been no further thrip sightings since I've given a couple treatments, so between the Spinosad and some diatomaceous earth on soil surface those d-bugs have been bounced! I hope you get similar good results :brow:... Though it's weird you couldn't find it at one of the usual stores,... lots of companies seem to be putting out Spinosad products in their lineups... How annoying!
Yeah, it's time for update for me too,... I did put my HighRise seed order in at RCMC!! Giggady-giggady-giggady!! I'll have more on that tomorrow at my place :smoke:

Happy Friday my fellow AFNers!

I was talking to my friend Anne this morning, and had to tell her that I accidentally broke one of her arms with my careless use of hose while watering on Monday - which is her actual birthday! :yoinks: As you'll see in the pics, I taped it up and it appears to be fine! :booya: It was not a clean break, kind of peeled down at the stem so since it was kinda hanging by a thread I decided it wouldn't hurt to try...

Here are some pics of Anne from this morning:

5.31 Anne.jpg5.31 Anne sling.jpg5.31 Anne cola.jpg

The branch that broke is on the left, pulled closer than the other side... As you can see the fan leaves are fading on her too now, along with evidence of her deliciousness (euphamism for bug bite damage). It seems like the ladies are "ripening" individually rather than by strain, but every day more seem to start the yellowing. SO FUN!! Also, you can see a dragon from the photo crop photoboming!! :pimp:

Anyway, second picture is the sling I made for her - box tape if you must know... :roflcry: We are fancy around here! Good shot of some of the little smaller buds I would have pinched off if I were paying more attention... Last pic is a closer shot of the cola and 2 side buds. I've been frustrated trying to take a picture that shows the "fatness" of the colas as I see them - never looks the same in pictures - but this is a good shot. I think the secret is daylight before the direct sunlight hits them, and now that I have a clue I can get some better pics of the rest of them.

Still have a ways to go, at least that's what I'm hoping... Looks plush now, but they shrink by half when they dry in my experience, so it'd be nice to see them swell a bunch!

Waira- I'll have to take a pic of my 'scope - it's hand held and very easy to use on the live plants :D I'm wobbly to begin with so I pull up a chair to do my peeping! Incidentally, we have achieved some cloudy trichs on Anne - I checked after the accident... I have no idea if I've checked your thread since you posted - I think I have - my mind is in a blur lately... I'll head on over and see what you're up to anyway... :D

Thanks for reading - comments and questions welcome! Hope you're all having a great day!

You have done a great job and I too wish everyone could really seek their happiness without stupid outdated laws getting in the way. At first I grew for recreational reasons, since I started growing real herb I have discovered some medical benifits. I have been able to replace my muscel relaxing pills and found I could use pot effectively for pain management. I though the medical stuff about the benifits of pot were BS, I was wrong.
