Hey all. Pretty new to growing. Gonna do a manned outdoor grow in Florida. Need help. Advice and wisdom please???!!! Im going to be growing 3 roadrunner #2 auto. And 3 fruit auto. Both dinafem autoflower. I would either like to do a coco medium and feed. Or a organic soil cal-mag grow. But don't have time for prep. Also funds are very limited. I would like to atleast use 5 gallon pots. And keep portable. Summer here in n.Florida is very rainy. But also still get tons of sun. I live in cabin off grid. No electricity. And plan to cover during rain with greenhouse visquine. And house at night. I will be there full time. My biggest issue is i have only 75.00 dollars i can afford for whatever medium and method. And need 6 plants worth in atleast 3-5 gallon containers. I know i cant go top notch with 75 bucks. But im sure alot of you have had to cut corners when first starting and ended up with good to great results. Please idea's?????

I'm in central Florida ... Why move them indoors at night ? Why cover from the rain ? Can you plant them in a sunny spot in the ground ? I use 4 gal nursery pots from Lowes ... Do not use soil that is pre fertilized ... I use Lamberts Organic potting soil from Home Depot mixed w/ Perlite ... I would buy a starter kit of Advanced Nutrients PH Perfect Grow.Micro.Bloom on Ebay for about $25.

Hey there. Thank you for replying. Any supplies i can obtain have to be obtained locally. I truly live out in the sticks. And ordering and receiving would be very difficult. All though there is a hydroponics store in the town i resupply in. Imagine they will have a nutrient pack. What is the structure of the food i should be looking for? Veg-flower? And just how wet we can get during summer. Ive heard nightmares about bud rot and other mildew mold problems. Just figured be better to not let get drenched. And moving them to the enclosed porch at night i was thinking would keep pests and the like down. And i live in the deep woods. I have a couple nice areas cleared to let lots of sun in. Problem i was thinking is none of those spots get that direct light for more than 2-3 hours a time. So was my intention on keeping them portable i can give them 8-10 hours of pretty direct solar contact. Im novice at best. And no autoflower specific experience. So please feel free to fire your opinion and answers to this stuff. Please. Im completely open to suggestions. Im a disabled vet. Severe p.t.s.d i live in a facist state were im not allowed the medicine that actually helps. Im very limited on funds. Can not exceed more than 80.00 bucks on this project. And can only go to town for supplies one more time. Then im at cabin next 90 days. How much is the soil u use from home depot? As well as pots? Thank you please let me know what u think

Ok. Checking links now. Also found out the hydro store carries canna, ff, Humboldt nutes. Are those gonna be comparable? Thanks as im down to 4 days to gather supplies and im out in woods. Also should i put some clay pellets in bottom of pot? And possibly on top of soil? Im new to these forums. And am just a bit overwhelmed lol!!!! Needed a simpler outlook. And should i get cal-mag to use between feedings? With feedings? And ofcourse not start out feedings at full strength correct? Any recommendations on how much and when to start nutes? Thanks

those are all good nutes just a bit higher priced than biobizz ... is your water spring water and do you know if it's hard w/ a lot of calcium in it ? Calmag is good to have you'll want it sometime ... assuming they're healthy I start feeding 1/4 strength nutes at 10 days and build up to 1/2 strength by week 3 and stay there pretty much thereafter ... switch to bloom nutes once the plants are fully in flower ... your plants will need up to a gallon of water a day ...

I will be using primarily rain water. I have a 40 gallon drum with several layers of screen. Then a dozen or so five gallon buckets with lids to store. The cabin itself has no water supply. Actually a project i will be working on while im out there. I have a relative close by i shower at and such. Pretty primitive actually. And really don't have much choice if i want to attempt my hand at growing which i do. It has me hooked already. Gives me something to occupy my mind. Off track lol. That's my water, if by chance a dry season i will have to accommodate something. But has of now the tropical storm that just passed has all my water storage pretty full. Also not trying to over do it. I think 6 is a good starting number... one question??? Feeding? Every watering? If plant is reacting well.. and the point u switch to bloom nutes do u stop veg nutes? Thanks again

W/ some nutes you use both w/ others it's switch from one to the other ... the hydro shop may be able to advise on best nutes to use w/ rain water ...

It'll be either rain or distilled. Just ran across something i wanted see if u knew anything about it. Mushroom compost. It says organic. But has a low fert listing. .5 .4 .5... was thinking if can use. Mixing 1 quarter perlite. 1 third coco. And mushroom compost the rest. I know u said no pre fert soil. But it being low. And says from organic sources. And then mixing with the perlite and coco that it might be ok????
