To me as well, the squatter bushes full of buds, with a more even canopy and better distribution of light across the majority of the plant, buds are going to be bigger and better.
For example we grow hps start to finish, and plants do get tall and branchy but realistically all the concentration of nice flowers is in the top half of the plant, and we generally clear the bottoms of fluff and growth that won't amount to anything.
So imagine one of gbd' bushes just with legs. But also bare in mind we pack plants together and they are fighting for light, now if we were growing way less numbers or single plants under a hps then the result might be a lot different.

Mitch that Lolipopping or how i call it get rid off the Sucker Branches that only use energy in the Plants Metabolism and dont get much of the Light benefits is totally necesesary if you want to have nice Buds and a good Canopy.

The only downside I see to a bushy plant is canopy penetration, otherwise you are just spacing out the internodes.

Well frosty Gal she is Bro. Another Nice example why we love that Mephisto Gear so much. You think its ok to chop her cause i still see some white Hairs inbetween. But got that on my Kinky Cheese too still few White Hairs but Trichomes already Ambering.

The first time I had Sour Hound she kicked my ass, leaving me damn near comatose. I wanted to try to keep that from happening so chopped her while still mostly clear and cloudy. The terps were in full effect regardless, but she could have gone another 10 -15 days if nighttime meds are desired. I don't have a good count, but my best estimate for age is around 60 days. Cheers Bro after testing few Heads of Charras from the Kinky...first i finaly woke up again after a Nap of this and 2nd ill go n flush her now so i can chopp this Stinky Beast next weekend else i end up like a Braindead Zombie too after a Smoke.
Terps on her are on point too i think she couldnt get sweeter.
