Hello AFN!

I am new to growing and about mid way through my first grow under 2 600W Viparspectra LEDs. I have been impressed with these lights for the money they cost but seeing how much im already loving this new hobby im planning to add another tent but do not want to go so cheap with the lights! I dont want anything to powerful that will increase my chances of hurting the plants by having the llight to close but would like something that will net me better results and yeild.

I plan to add another 5x5 tent and was thinking of picking up to advanced platinum p450s for this tent. I see there name a lot in my searches but I am not sure this light is the best bang for my buck so I come to you guys asking what you think would be the best fit in this tent. Im not overly worried about the cost but again I dont want a light i need to put on a mover or anything. Thank you in advance cant wait to hear what you think,

I did take a look at cobs but there completely foreign to me! Do I need to buy things to put them together or do I buy the ~150 cob and just plug it in? If it is 3500k do I need supplemental lights for flower? how many would I need for a 5x5 and would it be more economical to get something like an optic 4 or 6 with built in cobs?

Cobshop bro, Autocobs are a complete light with a plug...Open the box, hang the light and plug it in..That's it.You can use 3500k for flowering no problem..I mean I use 6500k for flowering because that's what I have at the moment, no complaints..For a 5 x 5, 5-6 will work if I recall correctly. You don't have to use them all in the beginning as well, you can add more or plug more in as the plants get older.

EDIT: If you do decide to go with Autocobs, just don't look at the chip when you plug it in..These small lights are easily underestimated.

Yup, Autocobs will work with photos  The 3500 & 6500 combo would work nice..Mix the spectrum a bit..I'm actually planning on doing the same.

Awesome! How important are the reflectors for these lights? Im assuming it gives the greater intensity or a larger footprint? Im assuming the footprint of the light is not to large?
