Lighting Best LED under $600

Well again, most aren't "made" in the USA. They're made in China. If I had a product that I made, instead of ordering parts and then assembling them... I'd put that up on my site too. And say "Proudly Made In America". I totally get that people take advantage of the slogan but I don't think that's the case here. Especially since like I said it's a rarity to find US made LEDs.

Also not quite sure what you're reading but the performance, running cost, and efficiency are evident in multiple videos. Not just spectrum king posted videos either. Honestly dude I've seen half as good lights go for twice the price. A grand ain't bad, especially considering what it brings to the table.

Though it's not for everyone and I totally get being cautious when it comes to lights. There are a lot of companies out there selling shiny toys with catchy phrases.

Some weeks ago I first heard of SpectrumKing, it seems to be the closest to the the kind of led light I would make myself, trying to emulate the sun spectrum.
The design is oriented towards large rooms and greenhouses, very hard to fit one in a small cab but why not try:) I'd sure want to see someone(like one of the grow kings) on afn giving it a try;)

Spectrum comparisons video, probably the most important one:

Well If all goes well I might have a spectrum king in the coming few weeks. If that does happen. I would love to do a full test grow with it :)

I have only two words for you, broly...

DO IT! :)

*which option are you considering? I would choose the 450W with 90°reflector(maybe also dimmer), I continue to imagine a scrog(of a particular strain I got) under that light, would be awesome I think.

lol YES!

I think i'm going to try to go for the 450W with 90 degree reflector. Though Idk in the spectrum king vs all youtube videos the 60 degree looks to be outperforming the 90 degree. So we will see.

Yea I had mentioned in an earlier post it was not under 600 but still the best light i have seen so far. To speak on the American quality thing you mentioned. I think it does say something to put an American stamp on it. Sure USA cars aren't built like the japs. But in the LED world 80% of them come from china. So to say american made or even UK made does add to the attraction and comfort of buying one.

Then the cooling thing. I can't find the link but there was a guy on youtube who did a temp test and even right under the spectrum king light it was only 95 degrees. And the passive cooling ( massive heatsink ) barely warm to the touch.

Check more into it man, I think you'll be pleasantly pleased.

good way to stir a hornets nest! You can have your opinions of U.S. made cars, etc, thats your prerogative. It WAS true in the 80's and 90's. That has long since changed. Lets keep this about whether or not the product in question is worth buying, rather than taking cheap shots someone else's country!

I'm not stiring anything. The topic was american quality in LED's ( which I was supporting ). I was just using cars as an example because it's one category "made in america" doesn't really mean much as far as quality. No cheap shots here.
