Put heat mat down inside veg box, put small plastic coco tray on top (I throw away the coco pellets), pop a seed into a Sunleaves Starter Plug, put in tray, cover with included plastic lid, plug-in heat mat, pour in a little distilled water, rest a CD on top of the tray's lid to keep the heat in, close the veg box door and turn off the lights.

Check every 5-10 hours to make sure the plugs stay moist (but not overly soaked) and that they feel warm, and wah la, cheapo, guaranteed germination every time.

The only thing I struggle with at times is when to put them in soil...either too early or too late in the process...but for the most part I wait for the cot leaves to fully appear and green-up, give it a day or so to strengthen up, then gently put the plugs into a container with my soil mix, mist the soil with distilled water via a spray bottle until she's ready for a full watering in a week or two. No CFL light until she goes into the pot typically. Also, never remove a seedling from the plugs, they stay in those their entire lifespan...only in emergencies do I take them out (before roots start to cling to the plug typically, if they need some help).

I've never had a seed not germinate this way. Posting this in case new growers are struggling at all with germinating and want to keep everything "inside the box" from start to finish for stealth.

The pot they go into is their only pot (typically a 1.7 gal to 2 gal square white plastic pot.

I never have to touch the seed again after putting into the plug typically.

I've had seeds germinate in 24 hours this way, but typically they do the normal thing of taking 2-3 days to germ.
