I would hold off until you get the 62%. Tobacco can safely be stored at 72% or higher, but with cannabis you risk mold growing inside the buds. If you've overdried the bud then a couple more days until rehydration won't matter anyway. I'm still confused though, since anything at well under 50% should have crispy stems and crumble when you put pressure on it. I'd leave it alone in the jar for a good 24 hours and then see what your reading is. Sounds like you still have moisture in your stems so hopefully with some time it will move into the buds and moisten them back up. It's best if this happens slowly, not with a sudden introduction of a lot of moisture.
If you have truly overdried the bud, it will still vape OK but smoking will be unpleasant. You could do oils and edibles also and the potency should be fine. But overdrying kills the nice aroma and flavor that good cannabis should have. I'm still not sure you are in trouble yet - give it some more time before taking drastic measures.
