I'm a new to weed and new to coco grower. been having issues with my grow i started a month ago. just wanted to let everyone know Waira has been great helping me out! i have multiple issues going and he's hung in there to help as much as he can! a big thank you to him and the AFN community who has helped me! I'm normally a organic garden grower so its definitely been a learning curve for me! another 4-5 weeks to go! still got time to improve on things. If i even get some decent smoke ill be happy. happy growing and smoking all!

Hey Steve and welcome to AFN, sounds like your in good hands with your grow. If you get a journal going then we can all join in. Tag me by placing an @ in front of my name and I shall jump in.
Happy growing dude

:jointman: T'anks mon! I appreciate the kinds words my brudda's,... :thanks: ... I got plenty of good help from lots of folken here, and especially two of own original Founders, JM and Muddy... all kindly and freely offered for the asking! It started when I was trying to puzzle out things for other friends and myself, and they chimed in and presented the whole diagnostic process... since then it's been a pay-it-forward thing, and besides, it's kinda fun-- usually! :eek1: --not so much when a plant is FUBAR,... :nono:
.... You have challenged yourself going with coco as a newbie!... Coco itself is a very unique medium, with several unusual characteristics,... top of that list is it's odd CEC properties (cation exchange capacity), involving Ca, K, and to a lesser degree, Mg,... it's why there's specialized nutes for use with coco,... It can be a challenge to dial it in at first, because many try to treat it like true soil, which it's definitively is not! A good deal of homework needs be done before using it, or the learning curve will be harsh and steep... But once dialed in, it's superb, especially for indoors! We have many fine coco-nuts here, so there's tons of how-to/not-to info around,....
