Alrite Ladz,

Gonna start a grow journal for DP Automazar.

Have few grows under my belt but have been only really been growing JD's strains. (Mainly Lowryder 2 & Easyryder)
Not happy with yield from those strains i decided to step up the game and go for DP Automazar.
I have been trying to perfect my grow strategy, knowledge & experience over last 2 years
I got lot of help from this site - thanks to FD & SI to name a few and all info posted by all other members

Set up :
Tent 1.2 x 1.2 x 2m (Secret Jardin)
Extractor Fan
Carbon Filter

20/4 Cycle

400w HPS - Phillips Son T Agro (Actualy 430w)
Mantis Pro Reflector

Airpot = 15Ltr -- (Somehow 20Ltr soil will fit into pot easily --strange)

Biobizz Light mix
Biobizz Grow- Bloom - Root juice - Topmax & Heaven

Water & Fert Solution -- amended before application -- ie added oxygen

Current Status - 1wk 3 days[/B - What happend so far]
Germed in 2" Jiffy pellets within 40hours (Transplanted in pots within 48hours) Filled soil into pot and watered left stand for 24hours (added root juice to water - 3ml per Ltr)
Day 7 -- Got 1 ltr Water -- 0.5ml Grow & Heaven - 3ml Root Juice per Ltr

1st impression -- Automazar -- very vigorous -- 1wk 3 days old and they look more like nearly 3 weeks old (Compared to the Lowryder strains)
Definitely impressed by the DP genetics

Less Dribble, will post some pics soon... Nothing exciting happens during initial 3 wks, so wont put up many pics.....

Quick update

Hey Guyz,

Quick update with pictures.....

Plants doing good, all 3 have started to develop branches and currently on their set of 5 fingered leaves.
Currently 3" tall and moved light down to 2ft today

Still surprised how quick these babies are growing. :GoooAuto: or am i smoking to much Black Afghan :no:

2wks old + Today

Morning Ladz,

thought i do a quick update before heading of to work.... :no:

3wks 1 day

Plants still good, had smal issue with 1 of the plants, i think it was to close to the Fan or could have been heat stroke.... have few pics and ye all see what i mean... leaf edges curling up during.....

Plants are between 4-5" tall --- 1 tall - medium & shorter -- The one plant that has the wind or heat stress is the smallest -- so there seems to be a definite growth pattern developing....
They all have 4 nodes and 6 branches each --- Internoed lenght is where difference starting to develop....
I moved the lamp back up higher than 2ft -- 2ft and 2-3inches to due to small heatwave were having and temps higher again... about 27-29Celsius
Humidity about 45-58% a day....

They got feed today -- 1 ml Grow & Bio Heaven -- 3 ml Root Juice -- per Ltr water -- each plant got 1 ltr water
Water/Feed was oxygenated 24hour before application this morning

All going OK i guess --- 2 plants vigorous and 1 slightly slacking behind (probably due to slightly stressed)

Hey Guys,

Have a quick question for anyone who can help.

I noticed 1st preflowers on one plant nd it only 15days old....

Is this normal ? Is that gd news or bad news for me ?

Any help is much appreciated... Cheers

Shouldn't it take a bit longer for preflowers to appear to prolong veg period nd increase size nd yield...

Any thoughts much appreciated...

Hey Guyz,

update time for week 3 is over and i have to say the plants have some vigor in them.
I never had an autoflower 11" at day 21 -- they usualy only start preflower at this time.

The tallest plant is 11" -- up from 7" in couple days since last update....... Preflowers at day 16 -- branches are getting seriously bigger aswell.....

Medium Plant -- 9" tall -- thought i seen preflowers at day 17 but slow to follow up with pistils --- i keep an eye out though....

Smallest plant -- 7" -- might be the smallest but hasnt stop expanding sideways -- Something like a preflower showed it self on day 18 but think i was wrong .... looks more like a 2nd petiole.....

Altogether they look nice and green -- no signs nute def yet --- again vigor seems to diffr between all 3 plants...

Their due to get their weekly feed tomorrow -- 2ml Grow & Bioheaven -- 3 Ml Roojuice --per ltr water -- each plant get 1 ltr water -- Oxygen pump will be left on for next 24hr

here sum quick pics as promised.....

I checked all 3 plants again today and only 1 of the plants has started to pre flower....

The other 2 seem to be on the verge and 1 of them had a 3branch starting at a node were their was sopose to be a preflower.... just rubbed it out ....

looking good smokey, il be keeping an eye on this grow, il be doing a similiar one myself with 12 x 15litre airpots in a 1.2m tent like yours under 1000w hps im going to do 4 different dutch passion strains, automazar (like yours), staryder, autoxtreme and think different so 3 of each of them, how often do you water your girls might i ask? the only thing im worried about (being a first time grower) is over watering my plants, il be using soil mixed with perlite and clay pebbles for extra drainage if that helps

Hey Max,

cheers for checking out my grow.... the tallest plant has grown another 4 inches top 15" in 2 days, so i lowered the light tryn to control this crazy stretch, the other 2 plants are only 9" & 11".... Hop digity

note of caution: Sounds like you have your hands full with 12 plants, especially 4 different strains, fair play to ye for taking on the challenge.... I dont really like growing different strains at the same time due to each strain has diffrent appetite for nutes ( so watering nd feeding can become slightly complicated)... if it your 1st grow i would say keep it simpler to 1 or max 2....

To your 1st question, about twice a wk at the moment, biobizz light mix soil dries out fairly quickly and i think once they start to get really big & thirsty i be watering nearly every day....

i also have issues withlow humidity sometimes and airpots dry out quicker because of all the openings...

Really it would depend on what type soil you be using nd how gd it is at holding water.... also lot other factors like the environment...

A trick i learned with airpots its, lift it up before you start to water nd once its full, you feel a def difference nd after a while it become 2nd nature....

I i know that my 15 ltr airpots fit 20ltr soil md take about 2,8 ltr water, this is when i fill the pot with soil and water 1st time to get it wet...... this way i know if i give a plant 1 ltr water i gav it 1/3 of what soil can hold..... :
