Indoor Biobizz & 3x Automazar

good advice

Hey Max,

cheers for checking out my grow.... the tallest plant has grown another 4 inches top 15" in 2 days, so i lowered the light tryn to control this crazy stretch, the other 2 plants are only 9" & 11".... Hop digity

note of caution: Sounds like you have your hands full with 12 plants, especially 4 different strains, fair play to ye for taking on the challenge.... I dont really like growing different strains at the same time due to each strain has diffrent appetite for nutes ( so watering nd feeding can become slightly complicated)... if it your 1st grow i would say keep it simpler to 1 or max 2....

To your 1st question, about twice a wk at the moment, biobizz light mix soil dries out fairly quickly and i think once they start to get really big & thirsty i be watering nearly every day....

i also have issues withlow humidity sometimes and airpots dry out quicker because of all the openings...

Really it would depend on what type soil you be using nd how gd it is at holding water.... also lot other factors like the environment...

A trick i learned with airpots its, lift it up before you start to water nd once its full, you feel a def difference nd after a while it become 2nd nature....:smokeit:

I i know that my 15 ltr airpots fit 20ltr soil md take about 2,8 ltr water, this is when i fill the pot with soil and water 1st time to get it wet...... this way i know if i give a plant 1 ltr water i gav it 1/3 of what soil can hold..... :D:

sorry for the long explanation lol but growing weed can be a science in its self..... :GoooAuto:

maybe your right smokey, 2 strains could be more manageable im thinking the automazar and the think different what would you reccomend?
i will probably actually weigh y pots when they have oil in em dry just to know when they are dry you know and just leave the scales up their, if i hce 15litre airpots how much water would be a good feed for them in flower do you think?

Alrite Max,

Auto Mazar and think different seem to reliable strains from all the reviews and grow journal, this is only my 2nd attempt on Automazar so really cant give you any advice on what strains to choose.

I remember a grow journal were 1 person got 800g dry in one grow with automazar and think different-- so they def big producers....

What kind of soil will u be using ?

Biobizz (Organics) recommended to keep my soil moist at all times for it to work at full efficiency and the soil life to trive... just to be specific they recommended 65% moisture

Therefor i cant let my soil dry out too much, some people say that auto like a good dry soil and then be watered...

It all depends on your soil... a safe bet is to start with not letting it dry out too much and keep it moist most of the time but not wet.... try adding oxygen to your water before application, this will help keep oxygen in the soil and keep roost working better... .... You should read FD's guide to growing hefty autos.... :smokebuds:

Could you link me to FD's guide smokey?
i will be using cann pro plus soil mixed with plagron perlite and some hydroton clay pebbles in the bottom for drainage, that sound good?
so you would also recommend adding co2 to my nute list you think?

Wk 4 over

Hey Guyz, :smokebuds:

Wk 4 is finaly over and i thought i do a quick update.... Hop digity

Over all -- plants are very green --might have bit too much N and considering slowing the appplication N down a little bit... last week feed was 2Ml Grow & 2Ml Heaven & 3Ml Rootjuice

This week feed i do 1.5ml Grow & 3ml Heaven & 3 Ml Rootjuice
Feed will be oxygenated 24hour before application

Tallest plant is 23" and started to pre flower at day 16 --- some stretch so far -- average between 1.5 -2 inches a day growth -- I can notice it is coming to the final phase of stretch period....

Medium PLant is 15" and only started to pre flower @ day 24 and has def started to stretch -- notice a leafe is missing at the top and could be i injured the plant or just something which is genetic... will see as time goes on...

Shortest plant -- 13" and started preflower @ day 25/26 -- so not really started to stretch yet but sure it will pick up asap... leafs are very green and main reason slowing down N application -- too much N will slow flowering ---

Over all : still really vigorous -- i feel they very big and wide for only wk 4 ... Have to move the light higher nearly every day due to the tallest plant and trying to keep the light about 40-50cm away from the plant :GoooAuto:

Have a few pics for ye all to look at ... taken with camera phone so quality not great... any feedback greatly welcome...

Hey Max, i add the link for you in couple minutes.. reference you set up for the soil , sound pretty good to me, i seen plenty people using similar set up and having good success --most commercial potting soil/soil mix usually hav very good drainage to begin with and you might not need the hydrokernels at the bottom of the pot... it is up to you tho... If you are following somebody's example or set up then go with it but try to stick to it as much as possible... cause any change in set up can have huge impact on growth either positive or negative, as it is your 1st grow -- i would say keep it simple and dont complicate things for you...

thanks smokey

hey smokey the grow is looking great, im curious as to why you decided to grow only 3 plants in your space? surely in that tent you could fit 10 plants that size? thanks for the link btw it was a great read.

Max

Hey Max,

The reason for only 3 plants is more to do wit the way a judge would see it....

3 plants = own supply
10 plants = to supply

Ofcourse the difference between the 2 is the form of punishment.....

I hav the skills set nd tools to do 10, I like to do a big grow but danger increases wit evry plant

Don't Forget that these AM can get BIG!!! Esp in na Airpot, just look at any of Tangs grows. Three AM could easily get you to the half pound mark, and they can really bush out. Smokey, I don't grow in dirt, but keep a close eye on them now 'cause after they show their Lady parts they are going to step it up, Stretch and Feed!!!! Can't wait to see em bud up for ya!!!
