Found this chart that details some biodynamic preparations and their uses. Thought it laid things out pretty well.

Biodynamics uses what is known as dynamic nutrient accumulating plants, also known as mineral miners. These are plants that have roots that grow deep and accumulate specific nutrients. Here is a list of them and what they accumulate. Hope this is useful http://oregonbd.org/Class/accum.htm
