Hi there, im no novice but i have never encountered this before and im hoping it isnt black spot disease. Im growing big bang in promix, ph of 6 in medium and feeding about 700 ppm canna coco line cauze thats what i have left over, plants are outside. Any thoughts???

...no, I've not tried them, ...yes, they can help, but.... It's a catch 22 of sorts; first, you have to have the damn spider mites to begin with, to feed them, right? Same predator-prey relationship here as anywhere else in Nature... it's gamble, to see if they can keep up with the prey, or starve out from lack of,...or end up maintaining a constant low level infestation, which is the most likely scenario, and indoors, that's not at all wise! also, what you treat with to kill will probably take out the predatory mites as well,...So, I wouldn't rely on them alone to fix a spider mite problem, and if you're outside, the mites can come back from new invasion waves,... thrips are especially bad for this! They are everywhere, all the time, and what you kill one day, will be replaced soon by fresh opportunists,.. it's a war, in other words, that won't likely end until harvest,...
