Lighting BlackStar The Manual

For the 135 UFO style what do others use for hangers? The cables that come with the light hang it a touch lower than I would like. Curious what others are using, thanks all!

My blackstar came with 4 wire hangers, one for each corner of the panel.but to get more hight I just used 2 wires that I connected to there opposite corner of the panel,it reduced the hight of the hangers by a few inch :smokebuds:

I used some twisted wire I had laying around. It works pretty well because depending upon the setup, the AC plug can kind of push the light off center. With twisted wire, you can adjust any one of the cables you need to to level it all out.

Hey everyone!

I'm trying out the Blackstar 135 watt UFO light. I wanted to share my Afghan Kush Ruder that just started to flower!

I am happy with my last Photo grow using my 240w blackstar in coordination with my 150w hps (in the last 3 weeks of flowering). I had 2 plants going, each yielded 2.5 ounces each. My problem with my Blackstar LED is that one of the center 2 LED's basically burned out and melted down. The rest of the light RAN fine and still RUNS fine minus 1 center UV LED. I ordered off amazon, not sure if i can warrantee it. LED should have WAY more run time than 3 months before burning out.

I know how you feel TreeFarmer......same thing happened to me twice!!
