I purchased my 2 x Marshydro LED's 1 year ago. I have completed three grows and was initially delighted with the lights. However, I have just noticed that the exact same four diodes on BOTH lights have blown. I know these lights are cheap, but I would have expected a longer life from them. Both lights were just 2wks out of the 1 year warranty.

One light was bought from Marshydro on Amazon and the seller was kind enough to offer to repair the light free of charge, but it would cost approx £30 postage. The second light was bought from eBay and again the seller advertises themselves as Marshydro. Unfortunately, this seller has not been helpful and they are now ignoring my emails.

I'm guessing that I might need to just cut my losses. Any suggestions from fellow AFN members? @MarshydroTina

I've only used my light for three grows at 18hrs per day, but four diodes on both lights have blown already

Surely they should last longer.... Are they still safe/efficient to use?

I don't no how old yours are but the older mars lights had a problem with diodes burning out.I had 25 diodes go out on a 300 w light.Let me no how old they are.

Did you buy new or second hand? Is the warranty still in effect? That is a low cost led light. Knock proverbial wood, I haven't had a diode blow on any of my lights yet.

They're only 1 yr old. Three grows at 18hrs p.day. They only had 1 yr warranty and they're two weeks out of the Warranty when I made contact with them. They're not the easiest to deal with and I'm still waiting a response

I bought new and they were 2 wks out of warranty. I know they're low cost, but I'd have thought I would get more usage
