Hello everyone. I’ve been researching ways to automate watering as my love for this new hobby keeps expanding…along with the number of plants! From my reading, some people say chemical nutes are better than organic with this system; others say no nutes will realistically work (sludging/settling, pH instability, concentration issues). Has anyone used these with traditional (not water-only) soil setups? Dilute nutes and feed constantly through blumat (bubbler in reservoir) or top-feeding every third day or so to give nutes directly? Any suggestions/experience/wisdom to offer? Thanks.

I would not try to run any fertilizer through them. Use them to supply soft water only to TLS. Soil needs to be fed less often than trying to feed the plant. But this is a small scale solution. A reservoir pump and drip irrigation can be made somewhat automated and is scalable. The more automation the more money.
