Seed Stockers Boradan's easy (HA!) RDWC Blackberry Gum with tea ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

DAY 21 UPDATE

Reservoir change and a new home yesterday.
I decided to move this lady to a smaller home in order to give some room in the tent for the second leg of the Seedstockers Battle.
Bumped her feed up very slightly - purely unintentional and simply because I was too baked to count correctly :baked:

READINGS:

pH: 5.9
Feed ppm: 320
Water Temp: 22.2C
Air Temp: 25.9C
Humidity: 67.8%
VPD: 0.71
Added 500ml of Tea to the reservoir.
Pictures of the new setup incoming...

Thank you for the info!! I am happy as I just brewed up another batch and it's even more slimy. So happy my tea is good, but yeah I'll watch out for stinky feet/butt smell.
I'm glad you are in the SS battle, I am joining for the second leg so I will see your gals there too :pass:

DAY 23 UPDATE

Only a few days after the last update, but I have PICS !!!

Noticed a slight touch of calmag issues about 6 hours after the reservoir change, so added about 40ppm of CalMag Pro.
Seems to have stopped it in its' tracks (hopefully).
Reduced the Humidity a touch in order to increase the VPD as she is 3 weeks old now.
The light is at 30 Watts and 6.5" above the top leaf.

pH: 6.0
Feed ppm: 360
Water Temp: 22.2C
Air Temp: 25.6C
Humidity: 62.4%
VPD: 0.87

Added 250ml of Tea today also.

The water is a bit more turbulent in her new home due to the amount of Air in a smaller space, but doesn't seem to be causing any issues as far as damage goes

Her is her new home in all its' glory:

It is a 47 litre tote being fed through a 12mm(internal diameter) hose from the reservoir with a cheap aquarium pump and drained by a 19mm (internal diameter) hose.
The 50 Watt Aquarium Heater is in the reservoir outside the tent and is maintaining a steady 22.2C-22.6C water temperature.
You can also see the 4 airlines for the 4 x 4" airstones from an 1800 litre per hour pump.
I will be making a second of these systems in the next week or so (when my parts arrive) for the second leg of the Seedstockers battle.

Very nice, she has lots of room to grow now and should show nice results because of that

Her new home is just under 2/3 the size of her previous one.
It was a necessary evil though due to me needing the space to fit another plant into the tent and the 75 Litre tote simply being too large to accommodate that.

On a side note, I am considering adding some more lights to the tent.
I currently have a single CLU058-1825 3500k running off an (adjustable) 150W Meanwell driver.
I have a 350W driver in a drawer and I can hear it screaming to be let out to play.
I can run 4 COBs at 87.5 Watts each, or 5 COBs at 70 Watts each. Efficiency drops off when over 75Watts, so I may go with 5.
I can use this 350W driver to run lights for this plant when she is more mature and use the current light for the new battle plant.

For some reason I thought you were going up in size, still a very nice size tote.
I've been researching QB's and drivers etc. it's all really cool. I'll be buying/building some stuff soon, but due to needing to source much of it in the US, looks like kits are cheaper than getting the stuff as parts and building. Looking mainly at HLG as they have stuff in Canada but not all of it sadly.

They seem to have all the parts you need.

Thanks for the link, I picked up a couple CobShop lights for now but still looking at building something down the road. I can source the drivers in Canada, free shipping on $100 plus but then need other bits. I think it would be viable if I had a solid chunk of change to spend, I'll save my pennies for a few months when I decide I NEED more lights again :face:
Hmm they even have terminal blocks and wire. Nice
