Mephisto Genetics BR has Toof Decay! (And 24 Carat)

A nice ten day flush on the 24c starting right now bro. At day 75 she should be ready to chop IMO. Heck they will all be wicked looking by day 75 that really cool finished look to them. How are the trich's looking?

Sounds like a n excuse for a picture: here's a sugar leaf from Carat.

She'll be coming down this week for sure.

Um. Figured I'd check the others and started with one I knew wasn't ready, Toof. Looks like it was a good idea to check them; thanks for asking, Fairly!

Even D.K., with hardly a darkening pistil on her has a touch of amber, though just a touch.

Excellent photos.
Lots of amber on Carat and Toof. What Percent would you guess is Amber?

What are those black squiggles?

DAY 70: We're heading towards the finish line now. The two 24 Carats got flushed out last Thursday, and Toof got the "bath" on Saturday. Carat will get hers right after the photo session.

I know it's part of the end process, but it's kind of sad to see those yellow leaves on a plant that's done so well healthwise.

Im always a little upset come harvest time, For me its when they look most beautiful. But on the plus side you get some awesome smoke.

My Toof Decay is massive and bushy now i only hope she will bud up like yours have. Very nice grow mate you should be proud

I remember seeing a thread a few days ago about how much people spent on their set up. I passed on posting there, because I was too embarrassed about how much I'd spent on stuff, particularly stuff that I didn't even need, but bought "just in case". Well, one of my purchases is now justified, so I have to point out that at least in one case, I wasn't foolish! Carat finally couldn't take it anymore, and even Toof had a branch that was starting to sag, so I got a chance to use my emergency bamboo stakes! Woohoo!!

Well, you knew this post was coming. It's only my second grow, so it was pretty much a given (with my impatience) that one of them would go down early. Carat was getting to the point, with past deficiency damage and all, that her sugar leaves were starting to go. Call it vanity, but I don't want yellow spots from bad leaves on my buds. Plus, the trichs were close enough (20% or so) that I didn't feel too bad giving in to temptation. I've only trimmed about three branches, but I had to take a break for reasons that will become clear, so here I am. A few observations:

1. Smartest addition to my "tool kit" for my second grow? Hands down the box of rubber gloves. Hands. Gloves. Heh.

2. I had to stop because both of my trimming scissors were totally covered. Naturally, I had to clean them and ah...safely incinerate the waste. Christ, Mitch; you ought to warn people! The initial effect was like a kick to the side of the head. :baked: Very distinct taste which I wasn't able to identify, and strong enough that I figured I'd better put the scissors down for a bit.

3. My dirty little growing secret: I actually enjoy trimming bud!

4. Actually a correction; it was, of course, D.K. that needed all the support, not Carat. But then she had a wider stance than an Idaho politician from the beginning.

I'll be back later with a wet weight. My apologies for the lack of right-before-harvest photos of Carat. When I decide it's time, it's time. Some day I'm sure this will all be routine, and I'll calm down enough to do a proper reporting job. This is not that day.
