Branch snapped, how long does a graft take?

While doing some lst one of my branches snapped and is more off than on the plant now. I've stabilized it with wire for the moment. The center is snapped and it's only attached by the outer layer at the bottom.

Does cannabis have a cambium layer?
Can it grow back on provided 30% of the cambium is still attached?
Or should I air layer the branch?

some help would be greatly appreciated.

edit: I went totally stupid in my little panic.. the cambium brings down the sugar so my branch can't get water atm.
How likely is it to grow back on when the center of a young branch is snapped?

edit2: I did attach it under tension and will raise the humidity in the area. How long does a graft generally take to fully stabilize?

Iv seen snapped branched repair many times and they always come back thicker and stronger. it usually only takes a couple of days (2-3). it may stunt the growth a little if you plant isn't already in flower it shouldn't be too much harm and if it's only a side branch it wouldn't really matter whether it was fixed or not. the plant would just put on the extra yield elsewhere.

This is not true with auto flowering plants they want limited stress it might heal but it sets you back a little. On photos I bend branches over super crop is what it's called

Air layering won't work because that is used for starting a new plant after it forms roots.All water and nutrients are transferred through the cambien layer or outer skin and how much of this grow layer is left it will heal itself.The best way to fix abreak is to make a splint with two pieces of sticks or popsickle sticks put broken branch back together like it normally growsthaen put a piece of stick on two sides and hild it together with twist ties or tape.Leave this on for at least a week and if it's going to work thatshould be enough time.If it doesn;t work just remove the branch.

Where did it snap? If there is a node below the break, it may be less stressfull to the plant to just go ahead and cut off the break and let the next node take over dominance. Just something to consider.

Yeah unfortunately I did have to take it off. the leaves were wilting at a crazy rate. I suppose that's the drawback.. they grow fast but also die fast.
I took it off, dunked it in some hormone powder, set it in water and we'll see if it survives. A cutting off an auto plant.. I could slap myself.

Ive personally had auto clones, from males, but clones none the less. It can work if its done at the right time.

Surprisingly enough the clone approach seems to be going well. No wilty leaves or anything. So I got that going for me.. which is nice.
