Brit Newbie Grower in Spain

Hi Folks,

I've got loads of useful info from this forum in the last few weeks after Remo (Urban Grower) namechecked the site in one of his videos, so I thought I should sign in and join the fun!

I've smoked for 25+ years but never grown a thing until this year when I found myself living in Southern Spain with a decent sized and fairly private garden, it would be rude not to! I've had mixed success with my photoperiods, but I've totally fallen in love with the speed and ease of autos! So far I've harvested 4X Jack Diesel Express (Positronics) and 1 Blueberry (local seed), with pretty disappointing results, but the next 3 look much better.

The grow shop in town sells seeds from a local breeder for only €2.50, so it's hard to resist trying new strains...I'm currently growing Moby Dick, Magnum, NL, Critical Jack, plus actual Sweet Seeds Cream Caramel and an Advanced Seeds Somango.

Helllooo!!! And welcome to AFN! I'm glad you found your way here! If those are current pics, that looks like beautiful weather! Sheesh! There are a lot of resources here that can help with outdoor growing, both phots and autos! You should consider starting a grow journal so others can tag along on your journey!

Thanks guys, sorry I haven't been around for a while - lots of personal dramas, including a police raid just down the lane which caused me to do an emergency "harvest" of all my autos. I saved the 3 big ones which were 90% ready, I got 65g (dry, trimmed) from the big NL, 40g from the Jack Cheese and 30g from the smaller NL. The LST didn't do much good, as the LST'ed NL yielded less than half the untrained one! They were both an enjoyable mild smoke, but nothing amazing. I've got a couple of kilos of fine photoperiod buds curing now, so I'm not as interested in the autos now TBH.
