Hey AFN.

Good News! I was checking out my plant, and she is showing pistils (I think they're pistils)! I was using my phone at max digital zoom, so everything might look the same. The second picture shows it the best (the center of the image).

Now for the bad news. After being excited about the pistils, I looked at the fan leaves and both the lower fan leaves have brown spots on them. I've accidentally grabbed that fan leaf a bit hard in the first picture, and cut it on the lower lip of the Tupperware, so that's why it has a horizontal line cut.

From this nutrient deficiency guide website, it looks to be as if they are having a phosphorus issue.
1. Is this a deficiency or a toxicity?
2. If it is a phosphorus issue, could this mean she is starting her flowering stage?

I didn't want to type too much, because it seems like a long post deters some people away from reading the posts. I'll post more if there are any more additional information required.

Okay cool. Thanks a bunch EverythingsHazy.

Should I just add it while watering? Or give it when it's time to feed?

Sorry, but I wouldn't recommend adding blood and bone meal to address this problem. Both are slow acting. Blood meal takes about 2 weeks to become available to the plants and bone meal even longer, sometimes a month or more. There are other things that can be used that will have a more immediate effect. Before you do anything I would suggest you check the pH of your run off. In more cases than not problem like this are usually related to the pH being either too high or too low and locking out the plants ability to uptake nutrients properly. Also post information about your soil, temps, humidity, etc. The more you can tell us the better we can help diagnose your issue.

Thanks Dude, Muddy.

I'll make sure to use with every watering and feeding then. The container is clear, but it's covered up.

I do have a grow journal. It is in my signature, but it seems like people stay away from the long grow journal posts, so I just make a new thread and people seems to answer it faster that way.

The runoff is at pH 6.0. I was watering her with the General Hydroponics pH Control Kit, but now that I have received more information about organic pH modifiers, I will be using the Earth Juice Natural pH Up and a BlueLab pH pen to measure my pH from now on.
