FWIW, I have only had 1 Mephisto.strain not germ properly and it was The White Train. The seeds were abnormally small and I was told others had issues too. Some seeds have harder shells too, so possibly Walter White has hard shells or is picky on germing. If temps are 80-85F consistently, almost every viable seed will germinate within 5 dsys. Most seeds crack with 48 hours snd dully germinate above ground before 7 days. Most of the time if an Auto seed seed is not up by day 5...its a dudd. I prefer to saok in a cup of water 24-48 hours and a vast majority of seeds will ve open with a nice tail if using my seedling mat and thermostat for consistent temps. Failures can and will happen if you are trying to germ in lower temps or if they Vary too much. If you have older seeds or hard to germ seeds, a pill bottle lined with sand paper with some shaking will scuff the seeds. This is called scarification and can help a lot. Also, many people claim putting your seeds in a frige or freezer helps tric the seed into thinkng it is coming out of Winter and should germ. I personally never tried it. But can promote a droplett of h2o2 in water and a soaking in glass, while it is in a dark 80-85F spot. I use a black tote as my Germination Station, with Seedling mat and Thermostat. It is the best $30 you will ever spend when it comes to germination. I used to just throw a cup of water on top of one of my tents for a day or so and have great luck. But one winter night it got way colder than I assumed it was. Felt like 75F. It was 70F. Once I put them.under my heated area they cracked open quickly. But had I not checked the ambient temp, I could have failed or taken longer. That being said, failures can happen and some seeds can be bunk. Without consistent temps, it is a gamble. Anyone with temps below 75F should NOT even waste their time or seeds. Get your temps stable and 80F forst and foremost. Good luck, slow
