Purple kush day 4.

I'm at day 4 and wondering when if its ok to give a full watering, and how much that watering should be..can somebody answer that? I watered both a little around the base last night but the soil looks dried.

Also the seed as u can see is still attached on one, I pulled about half the seed off but didn't want to tug on it so I jus left that last piece to hopefully fall off, other than that everything's pretty normal and going well

BEAUTIFUL. That deep purple is already starting. What day did pistils show up? How many days of flowering is typical. Also, what container and lights?

RE-Light height

A height of 18in is good. Idealy u want to get close enough to the plant that you make full use of its Lumen potential, but not close enough to burn the tops. Lights hung higher away deliver less lumens to the plant. A typical 400w lamp placed at 1ft above the plant will deliver its maximum rated LM, however if it is placed at 2ft the amount is cut to just 25% of its rating: i.e.:

400-watt: LPW(lumen per watt) = 125 (50,000Lm bulb)
@1 foot away : 50,000 lm
@2 feet away : 12,500 lm
@3 feet away : 5,555 lm
@4 feet away : 3,571 lm

400-watt: LPW = 100 (40,000Lm bulb)
@1 foot away : 40,000 lm
@2 feet away : 10,000 lm
@3 feet away : 4,000 lm
@4 feet away : 2,857 lm

so you want to be at least 12in away because going closer than that will have no LM benefit it would only create alot of heat and u could burn your baby, however being to far away will cause your plant to grow 'strechy', trying to get to the light. In my opinion, and thats what it is an opinion, 16in-20in is the ideal height. This height makes the best use of your bulbs output and at the same time is far enough to promote a healthy amount of upward growth(stretch) as well as outward growth(bushy).:thumbs:

Does anybody know why my leaves look kinda curled or kind of curl up? Its on both pk number 1 and 2..that normal or what, just want to be sure u have to look kinda close...I may give a full watering soon, cause I've been letting it dry but all is going fine :drool:

They look great to me dude. I find that a lot of seedling have small deformities when they're that young. Beautiful color, I wouldn't worry it'll straighten out and do its' thing.
