Hey guys and gals, welcome to my dodgy set up
I thought i'd post a thread on how i made my grow box and how easy it is for other new growers like myself to get yourself started for an indoor grow.
creative sarcasm is more then welcome, comments, idea's and tips on anything i could change/add to benefit the cab is up mostly recommend hehe :tiphat:

So the idea of this build was to make myself a grow cab.. the best part? zero cost build for us people on budgets, although i was extremely lucky to have alot of the items around the house so lets get started shall we!

so i found an old cupboard we now longer use.. perfect! started.jpg
i painted it white as that seemed like the most logical thing to do since i had some left over paint:check:

I have limited tools so i had to go about making cut outs painful haha but non the least it gets the job done

extraction fan in place!

my phone deleted some photos at this point so im missing a few pics but never the less!
intake, fanage.jpg
intake port.. i dont need a intake fan as the extraction fan sucks fresh air through the port so alls well, small PC fan i got out of an old comp, shall add more and a proper fan once i get around to it.

drying rack.jpg
up top is the drying space should be enough room for each harvest :)

cool friend that tagged along cool friend.jpg

i added cardboard to the doors to keep light in and a bit more air tight so all air being sucked in comes purely from the intake hole this is the end result

Now of course the pod filter is not actually a filter for the smell its just for the laughs...
i have no idea how this thread is going to look as this is the first time i've upload photos so i'll know what im doing next time if this is all over the place haha. some added info: I have hooks mounted for the lights, also have another hook with mutable mounting points for the fan so i can adjust during plants growth, cab is 170x90x35cm, the lighting will be 1x 130w CFL 6400k, 1x 130w 2700k, and 2 3ft T5's for supp' lighting, this is only for the first grow after this i plan on adding more T5's and another 27k & 64k, all in good time though :) its a work in progress, i've probably left so much out but that's it for now folks suggestions for improvement anybody?

Looks good. Always down for a self build. just dont forget to keep it clean bro! Not to be picky, but there a around your cab is pretty messy, give it a good clean up, your ladies deserve the best! Just cause we cut down on material costs, doesn't mean we have to forget about the basics.
