... better! my likely suspects are the same though,.. caterpillars won't go far if anywhere at all, but can be master cammo' artists, so scan over the plant, and scope out the others too,.. otherwise, it's a very mobile pest like earwigs, which feed at night, and hide during the day,... harder to deal with since there are lots of them around often.. you can kill what to lay eyes on, but others lurk! A physical barrier is a good option, like Tanglefoot, a sticky glop that you lay a bead of around the pot circumference, or diatomaceous earth (messy stuff).... caterpillars can be snuffed with lots of things; spinosad, neem, and Bt-- bacillus thurigiensis spray, which they eat and get rot-gut from,..best of all it's biological control, and will linger on leaves after treatment,... but first you need to catch the bastards red-handed! try tonight,...
