Indoor Buzzard tests some Laughing Hyena Seeds

Day 35 for the girls today and they are stretching a little and starting more bud sites. It looks like the Purple Domina is joining the others and going to flower. My photo skills don't show it well, but the leaves of the PD are really starting to darken from the tips in. Second pic is Northern Afghan. She is stretching more than the others so may need to be trained or super cropped. Third pic is Mango Stick. She is coming along nicely with a pretty even canopy. Fourth pic is Northern Berry. She is going to have a nice canopy as well. Final is just a group shot. So far things are going pretty smooth. A little bit of defoliation to keep things open . Will be upping the ppm and backing off the N a little and bumping up the P and K. Thanks for checking in.....:growing:

The girls are 6 weeks old today and just stretching and starting to form a few pom poms. Did a bit of defoliation to open up a few shady spots and added some LST clips to the Mango Stick and the Northern Afghan to slow down the vertical growth. No smells yet but they are sure drinking lots and transpiring a lot as well. Humidity is getting to a point where it has to be controlled. The Purple Domina is the first auto that I've grown without topping, yet it is growing like a properly topped plant, She is getting a very nice even canopy. The Northern Berry just keeps chugging along. She is getting some nice little poms. I am excited to see where the next couple of weeks take us , as I sense a growth explosion coming. Will have to up my ppm again and see how it goes. Thanks for stopping by and checking us out..... :cools:

Day 49 and all is well. I had the girls out of the tent for some defoliation and lowers cleanup. Pictures are after the cleanup, I forgot to take before shots, but it wasn't a lot that got removed. I also replaced the feed lines with longer ones so It is easier to move the plants around in the tent. They are drinking about a gallon apiece per day @ 500 ppm and ph 5.8. Will be backing off on nitrogen in the next week or so and add some pk boost and molasses. It's been a pretty smooth grow so far, I may have to consider more lighting as I believe they could use it in the bigger tent. Will have a better idea closer to harvest.
The pics start with the Purple Domina, Northern Afghan, Mango Stick, and Northern Berry. Thanks for stopping by.....:growing:

Early Flower
We are now at day 56. Everyone is getting busy stacking on flower. The Purple Domina is really hitting a stretch and she spread out very nice. I think she is going to be a surprise in the yield department. The buds are plentiful but a little small as she was slow to move into flower mode. Hopefully she will run a little longer to make up for it.

The Northern Afghan is the tallest of the lot with fairly good internodal gaps. Bud formation is coming along well and just starting to put out frost. No noticeable smells yet.

The Mango Stick is really starting to frost up. She has some very nice fruity smells to her. Buds are coming in nice and dense. she probably could have used a little more LST and training but overall is looking pretty fine.

The Northern Berry has really captured my attention. She is stacking on the bud and the frost level is crazy. The blueberry smells are intense and have me salivating.

Over all this has been a trouble free grow. There was a slight issue with nitrogen excess at the start because the perlite I used contained nutrients that I hadn't counted on. I don't think it set me back much as I backed off the nitrogen in my nute solution to accomadate. I did some defoliation as needed and bent some branches around with LST clips and they are doing the rest. Thanks for stopping by my friends............. :growing:

Day 63 for the girls today. The Purple Domina and the Northern Afghan are really starting to stack up bud. The Mango Stick and Northern Berry are done stacking and focused on plumping up. The latter two will finish in a couple of weeks around the day 80 mark, while the PD and NA will take some time yet, probably closer to 100 days. Frost levels are high on the MS and the NB, coming along on the NA, and just starting on the PD. The smells in the tent are very strong fruity terps with a dollop of skunkiness. The PD and NA are drinking an awful lot right now but the MS and NB have slowed their intakes a bit, so it is getting a little tricky with the waterings. I run the pump until the fast ones show runoff and then give the other two more by hand until runoff.

Pics start with Purple Domina, Northern Afghan, Mango Stick, Northern Berry, and a group shot. Thanks for stopping by and checking us out..... :growing:

We have made it to day 70 and things are moving along nicely. The Purple Domina is stacking buds like crazy to make up for it's late start to flowering. She is starting to give some fruity terps. I expect the buds to be smallish but plentiful. She still has a ways to go.

The Northern Afghan is really plumping up. She is going to be a good yielder by the looks of things. Very frosty and sticky girl. She will be a week or two yet.

The Mango Stick is a frost monster. She has very powerful tropical fruity smells. Looking like a fair yield, and should be ready in a week or so.

The Northern Berry is just about ready for chop. Trichs are pretty much all cloudy and a few ambers winking at me. This started out as a quick stretching plant so I thought it might be a tall one. It ended up being very short and fast. It has wonderful structure for a short plant and the buds are plentiful and very solid. The smells are unreal, she has the most intense blueberry aroma, and in natural light she is almost black on the fans. really looking forward to sampling this one.

Thanks for stopping by and checking us out......Pics are a plant shot and bud shot of each starting with the PD, NA, MS, and NB........ :growing:

Day 77 for the Laughing Hyena girls today. Things are coming to an end for the Northern Berry and the Mango Stick. They
are both ready and will be coming down in the next few days. The Mango Stick is absolutely covered in frost with a Tropical Fruity stench to her. The Northern Berry is a gorgeous plant with a dark blackish purple sheen. The smells on her are pure blueberry and very strong. The Purple Domina is really plumping up quickly. She has a lot more bud on her than I first thought. Smells aren't really strong on her yet but the trichs are really just getting going. She will be a week or two yet for sure. The Northern Afghan is a monster of a plant. Buds are large, sticky , and stinky. Just what I was hoping for. Looks to be a week or two on her as well.

Thanks for stopping by, I will post again in a couple of days when the Northern Berry and Mango Stick get the axe. Pics are a group shot, followed by PD,NA,MS,and NB.
