Indoor C&K tries some FastBuds Gorilla Glue.

i cheaped out and got a lil yellow ph pen on ebay £6 but i did spend £25 on various solutions for the pen.may need testing and calibrated more often than an expensive pen,but 3 years on its still working.
but if testing every watering or if not growing in soil, then a better pen may be better value in the long run.
good luck.

Thank you very much archie!!! Just goes to show that you don't HAVE to buy the most expensive stuff all the time. I will be using it every time so I guess that is one thing I do need to take into account. What's your personal favourite type of growing medium and why?

I'll possibly be trying coco next time or the guy at the hydro shop said he'd hook me up with a good deal on one of these...

Still trying to figure out what I wanna play in next lol. But thanks @tripaholic88 and @buzzyman32!!! Our tap water is high as fk pH wise. Like 8.5ish. Do you just follow the mixing directions on the package or does it need to be cut back from your experience?
I use three single handfuls in 4 gallons of water. U can lower the water ph with the lime also bro. Takes a lil more but it will work. Plus it add calmag and a couple other things. No problem man it worked for me so I try to steer everyone the right way .

I usually use calmag, but I used the Demeters Destiny Calcium supplement. It was only those couple leaves, but I know the pH wasn't spot on like it called for and I used spring water again for some dumb reason. If I get a pen soon I'll continue to use the NFTG, but if not, I'll just finish her up with the GH line.

i have only ever grown in soil so dont have an opinion on others.soil seems easiest/less likely to completly mess up so its what i stick with.
i got one of them lil green soil testers in B&Q for 99p and to be brutal it wasnt a waste of money its worth 99p.

Spring water should be amazing what's up with yours I'm kinda curious . I'm using rainwater that filters through 8 ft of dirt to my basement lol.

I thought it would be too, but I've always had deficiencies show when I start using it. Probably just the user error lol. But every since I started just using tap water, all the issues I was having, went away. My last plant had zero deficiencies. It was fkn beautiful!
