Most Interesting ....I like the flouro sidelighting....is that the uv lighting?....is it narrow band uv-b?
do they supply the flouro's also or is that up to you?
oh, and do you have a link to the forum site in question?....being downunder, LED's have an interest for me for heat alone

Yes the that is the UV on the sides.

I also have on the way, an exhaust (cheapo) and a carbon filter, gonna rig some kinda fan. I got a pedestal 18 inch oscillating fan, and if I pop the bottom off and hang the top, it kinda rotates, and pushes air around. So what I am looking at, if the exhaust is not creating enough heat, I will have to get some kind of speed control, to keep the heat in.

Great choice! I've got their 200w solarflare basically half your light without uv-b bulbs. But the 400 w is like my dream light for my cabinet. Perfect size great power, and you should get some resin from the uv. Keep us posted on how it does sorry about bad bulb George at shop is really good if you call em, sure they'll send replacement asap. That's the trouble shipping floro bulbs. Fragile. What's going under the light first?

I will see if I can get Mr. George on the line, because my sales rep must be on vacation. I wrote him the day the light arrived about the UV bulb, and I have not heard back from him. I know these guys are prettty good at cs, so I will give them a break. I won't need that UV light for another 5-6 weeks or so.
That may be true about shipping floro's, but this one was in the bulb box when it arrived, supposedly brand new. But the ends were dark, Like a t-12 bulb that is going out? knwo what I mean?

Anyway, thank you both for checking it out.

seems like it will be good for veg. It looks more purple then my bs so it def has a good amount of blue. does it turn more of a magenta color when you switch to flowering mode?
