Lighting CALIFORNIA LIGHTWORKS 400 watt, with UVB

Hey Eek, I am on the solarstorm gfp as well. Same name on that forum, doing Afghan Kush Ryder. Am in week 3. I have a friend of mine with the solar storm(400) and he has had a few problems with the 5 watt panels being too close. He actually bleached his babies on the tops. He runs a 3watt panel of a different brand and doesnt have that problem with getting it too close. Be careful man and dont bleach the babies!! Grow Karma your way!!:peace:

Hi Briman,

Yeah, it only takes a split second too, if you actually hit the light itself, but thanks for the advice i will be careful.

Nice to have ya on. Cool on ya with the CLW 400, I will go check out your grow over there. I have to do an update tonight so I will check out your Aghan Kush Ryder's

Hi everyone, here are a few more pictures of my grow. It is absolutely confirmed that I got 4/1 female to male ratio. Not bad. Probably something I did, ha ha.

Anyway, here are some pictures.

Okay all, this light kicks ass. I have the timing down now. They should be in full flower by two more weeks. Then there will be about 7 total weeks from there maybe 8. I got my PPMS, and Spoke LST. and carnival ties on the different plants. Next update, I will separate all the pictures so you can see the features of each plant. I did this on my outside grow last summer, and it worked real well, especially when you go back and look at the pictures later in time. However, I found that until they were flowering, they were pretty much the same except maybe in height.

bye for now, enjoy

Hello AFN Peeps,

Gettin' Some Frosty Nugs going on here.

Gave them a little molasses every other day, then skp one watering so it would go M-0-M-0-W-0 (repeat).
Gonna Flip the U/V on in about two weeks

Here are some pictures...
The Micro Scrog has tons 'O' budsites.
The "Sprocket LST" is something to look at, real pretty.

That's some of the most artistic bondage i've seen to date. Looks awesome eek! The symmetry is just beautiful and the girls look healthy under that CLW led. Any chance you could get some macro shots in before you hit them with the uvb? Sorta like a benchmark for the trichs before and after, ya know? Keep it coming!

Anything for you Grado,

See what I can get done in the nest day or two, get my home made scope out.

bye for now

Thanks Toke, appreciate the Love Bro.

Loving the sprocket eek...:smokebuds:

Hey Mr. Duggy, funny when we (afn) talked about the micro scrogging someone brought up the idea of using a wheel off of a bike, so mine weren't strong enough to do that, so I thought this might do the same thing.

Thanks Everyone, New pics coming up...

Hi folks, I am posting again the progress of the California Lightworks Solar Storm 400 with 2-15 watt UV bulbs. I still have another week until the UV goes on. but the frost is coming down. I have a pic for you all, and you to Grado, as requested.

Had a short week, the parents stopped in so I din't spend the time like I should have, there for not many pics.

Thanks brother Eek. Should provide a good solid baseline for comparison. Great looking before pics. Would you care to guestimate the average trichome/inch squared at canopy level? I know the buggers are tiny, but theres nothing like raw data to back up a hypothesis. Man, oh man if I had my way I could spend years getting to know one pheno and how it responds to various stimuli. Thanks again for the photo. Oh, and if ya put an object of known size in there, I'd count the trichs for ya.
