Hello all this will be thread for California and it's medical reforms
a little history California initially passed medical cannabis laws for medical use in 1996 under prop 215 and senate Bill 420 patients could get access to marijuana through a doctors recommendation.
Under Prop 215 and S.B 420 this protects the rights of the patient allowing persons with active marijuana recommendation and or caregivers for patients to get medical marijuana etc
Prop 215 and sb 420 also allow for active patients to cultivate up to 6 Budding plants and 12 Immature plants. Also you can cultivate in an area up to 100sq ft. The 6 budding and 12 immature plants is a Recommendation of California people who follow this are less likely to be victim to raids . however this doesn't guarantee you immunity but being in the recommended guidelines it will be easy to fight your case if it comes to that ... with that being said patients are also permitted to grow as much they deem medically necessary but this can attract unwanted attention.
Active medical marijuana patients are allowed to group together and make a collective grow / Cooperative grow which is allowed a significantly more amount of plant up to 99 budding .
Also collectives ,cooperatives, deliveries can dispense marijuana for "donations' to patients with recommendation .
Recreational marijuana California
Recently the sunny state passed proposition 64 Also known as ''AUMA'' (adults use marijuana act)peoples 21 and up would have access to recreational marijuana . this prop also allows the peoples to grow a maximum of 4 budding plants .
These laws are said to take effect anywhere from 2018-2020
