Hey now.
You have two sets of holders, ideal and bjb. Any reason for that? I'm looking up the driver now. Everything else looks OK as long as the heatsink is speced for your chip.

Edit: Maybe someone else can chime in here but I think that driver isn't right. It looks to put out 2.7 amps at 48 volts. I would want something like 120h c 1400, that would put you at the 50 watt sweet spot for that chip. I'm running that driver with two clu048 1812s.

Dude, sorry if not clear. I do not think it is the right driver!!

Hey,
Yes they say you can use it. Here is where I fall short in regards to this stuff. They did not say how to wire it so I suspect it is in parallel but not sure. That will work. I prefer series wiring because it is simple and safe. With parallel if one COB goes out the other can burn up from overload, with series, just like the old Christmas lights if one goes out they all do. We should wait until someone who knows for sure. I don't want to give you bad information!! I know what I know and what I don't!!
Peace

No problem mate  Thank you anyway  I Will wait for someone to 100% confirm the right driver

Thanks man appreciate that.
Looks like I was correct about the wiring. It would be parallel for that driver with these COBs. I think there is a sticky thread about wiring, parallel VS series. I'll check.

Edit: here it is, and it uses your pick for a driver for example of parallel wiring.

I cannot open the image. The 120h-48a would need to be run in paralell which divides the amperage and not voltage.

Series divides the voltage.
