Is it yet known what cannabis component induces this? THC-delta9, one or more other cannabinoids or terpenes, etc.

Dude i had exactly the same thing. Insane thirst but i would throw it up almost immediately. Not able to sleep. Cold sweats that soak my clothes in 10 minutes.

I guess i forgot to post that i am a Recreational stoner But at the same time the older i get the more i use cannabis for medical reasons.

It's weird we are discussing this. I hadn't gotten sick in almost 4 years. Then about 3 months ago i was hit with small bout that lasted about 6-8 hours. Then when I just took a 2 hour bath i finally snapped out of it. I didn't really think about that much but now i am starting to get worried.

That Haze will do that to you. I personally enjoy a good Haze as long as I don't get a headache. For some reason they tend to give me a headache so i don't get to enjoy it very often. I think i have some Seedsman Super Silver Haze i need to grow-- sorry to heat that..? The lack of info is frustrating, but it's getting better...just not so much in the USA because of the damn drug scheduling rating, politics and restrictions on research here...
The hypertension thing is news to me......sounds like a stretch to me to rank it as an official "syndrome". Though it's well known that THC and some terpenes can affect heart rates. Anybody that has smoked certain landrace Sativa's, some Haze pheno's, or the like and had that bad biker crank jittery raciness effect can attest to this elevated heart beat effect!
Funny, I was just talking about this at another forum, about a wonky off-pheno of Acapulco Gold I grew that had a super sharp metallic citrus aroma and a wicked nasty high at first. The worst heart racing effect I ever felt, it was literally like crank/speed or an overdose of Sudaphed allergy meds! That, along with a not-so-friendly psychotropic high, meaning if you weren't in a good head space to begin with, that shit would not get you there, quite the opposite... took over 2 months of cure to tame it down enough to be enjoyable, and it still was a wild ride high and racy, just not as mean/bad... Fun in the right time and place, otherwise,...
The how&why mystery of stuff like this and it's effects remains just that...but I'm finding a connection to this aroma profile over the years from other growers/smokers!

Quick question…. Of the CHS sufferers…. Who also uses nicotine products?
I don't get sick from smoking as much as I do from being exposed to a plant near harvest or during harvest it seems. No problems in veg but once in flower especially late flower I have to be carful of my exposure or headache and nausea come on strong.
