Never could get this questioned answered. I have the same scrubber from last year but it only was used for 2 rounds of auto. About 4 months. Is it still good for a round or do I need another one? Never used one that just sat around for that long!

:Sharing One:

About a year and a half if it is sized for your room properly. I have known people to use them a lot longer but that is with photos and only running 12 hours per day. There really is no way to answer for sure because carbon will last as long as there is surface area to filter the air. So the more odorous the plants or dirty the enviornment it is in, the less time it will last. Even in the worse case, I would think you should be good at least another year.

Hope that helps.

I don't think this one is a brand name. Got it from HTG Supply. Just a cheap $65 dollar filter. They work good as long as you keep the cfm's down. But I'll probally just buy a phresh.

Not cheap, Thrifty brother! That is the one thing I dont skimp on. Phresh are the bomb and work real well. On just over 2 1/2 yeard on mine and buy an extra pre-filter for no down time! I swap mine out right after every grow and wash the old. I dont turn mine on for 2-3 weeks in veg, unless they start to smell.

Never thought about buying another pre filter. Nice idea. So when you said rinse with cold water, u talking the whole filter or just prefilter?

Ok now I am racking my brain to the point of it not working properly. Lol

my exhaust situation in my closet sucks ass! Straight up. So... I can either build a box to put the fan in to reduce noise or I can put my fan and scrubber under the house and have my fan push through my filter!
Negaive pressure if scrubber inside, or positive pressure pushing through it under the house?
But it does get like in the negative F temperatures. Would that hurt my scrubber you think? I don't want to buy a new phresh filter and put it under the house and the cold temps fuck it up.
I heard if you push air through t you should put the pre filter on the inside of the scrubber? The whole problem is the noise coming from my grow closet.
What yall think?

Dont go under the house, this is a cold area and not meant for warm air you could run the risk of major mold and rotting if left long enough. Go under the house by all means but make sure the air vents outside the foundation walls.

Even if it's lined in thick plastic over ground and under pinning nylon holing up insulation? There is no where for mold to grow. Lol and it's cold as shit here in the winter. Last year it got to -24 wind chill. I don't see a whole. Lot of mold growing in that temp lol
whatcha think?

and we have hardly any humidity here anyway. I'm at about 3100 ft altitude even in hot summer we don't get but about 60 % humidity and that s it. In the winter everyone is dry and ashy like a bunch of crackheads. Hahahaha
