Mephisto's Ripleys OG & Green Poison by Sweet Seeds
While I haven't yet completed my Northern Lights grow journal, I'd like to invite some of the people who participated in my first grow @PantsGuyVer @tripaholic88 @Eyeoftheworld @jingo @BudsLover @Coffee&Kush @pop22 @canocrpse86

The plan for this new grow is 1 x Ripley's OG by Mephisto & 2 x Green Poison by Sweet Seeds. I bought these seeds from The Vault. The service was good and the packages arrived within 36hrs of placing our order.

The tent is a Black Orchid 80 x 80 x 160cm. The lights are 2 Marshydro 300w LED, with 4" Rhino carbon filter, 4" inline fan, with tower and oscillating fans.

I’m growing in 60% Canna Coco (professional plus) with 40% perlite. I didn’t flush the coco this time, but watered thoroughly with a low nutrient solution @ 400ppm and pH 5.8

These are most of the nutrients I'm using for this grow. I will include some kind of PK boost for flower and will probably also try Epsom salts rather than calmag during the flower stage

Root Riot cubes are being used for germination. I found this method on AFN. Here’s the link…https://www.autoflower.org/threads/germination-the-ronin-way.33891/

The seeds were sown on Monday 12th Sept and the cubes were placed in an airtight container.

I sat the containers on top of the wi-fi units to keep it warm and humid.

Two days later, both the Green Poison seeds sprouted.

Sadly, after 6 days, there’s still no sign of my Ripley’s OG.

The new seedlings were removed from the airtight container and placed in a tray of water with a little Rhizotonic until the first sets of leaves were more established.

I read what Truu had to say under the coco section about using smaller pots for coco. This is the link https://www.autoflower.org/threads/what-truu-knows-about-coco.20249/.

I don't necessarily want bigger plants, but hope to grow similar size with smaller pots... it's worth a try. They’re fabric pots. One is 8 litres, the other is 12 litres.

The seedlings were planted in coco/perlite two days after they first sprouted. The pots are now in the tent, but only under 1 Marshydro light for the first few days.

Humidity is quite low at the moment, so I placed both seedlings under a clear plastic dome for the next few days at least.

Officially, the girls are 3days old today

im subbed up brotha you know that! i was sooo excited for you to do the Ripley's im sorry it didnt germ :( atleast you dont only have 1 tho right?!?! good luck brotha im sure you will do fine!

Best of luck, I think sweet seeds sometimes gets overlooked but they produce frosty yummy goodness always. Last time I grew green poison the grow was a disaster with power outages, temp spikes, etc and the poison still produced amazing frosty nuts even though I stunted her.

Hey trip, thanks. Yes, I do have some more Ripley's, which I might sow one today. I think we can safely say that the one germinating now prob won't appear. They're one of the more expensive seeds, so fingers crossed for the second attempt
