Grow Mediums Cat Grows Green Poison by Sweet Seeds

Is that what you were using for a foliage on your auto blue? That thing had a crazy amount of branching and business to it. That's interesting that they have a list of approved chemicals for cannabis. I'm not sure if Colorado has the same thing or not but I've heard stories about some of the recreational grows doing shady stuff. I.e. Spraying pesticide on buds and whatnot.

They like it warm and wet cat. I'd say just try out the simple old paper towel method to see if they are even cracking. Maybe something is wrong with your cubes? I've never had it take more than 24hrs in a paper towel.
I have wondered if the cubes are ok, but the 2 Green Poison sprouted. It could be the Ripley's just don't like the cubes. I've got 1 seed left from the same batch (they were £30 for 3..gggrrr). I also have a separate seed which is from a different batch. I will try paper towel next and if it doesn't sprout, I'll contact the seller. When you do paper towel method, where do you put the seed and how warm?

Cat I usually wet the paper towel and wring out the water. Then I fold in a square that will fit into a ziplock bag. You want to put the seed between the two folds of the towel so it is completely surrounded. Then put it somewhere warm. I usually put it on top of my light. Mostly I see the seed crack within 12-24 hrs. I keep checking it and usually put it in my medium when the tap is about an inch long. Make sure to keep checking it because if you don't then the tap will start growing into the paper towel and will be stressful for the plant to remove it. Also don't transplant it too early, if the tap isn't about an inch or so before you plant it then I have noticed it is a lot slower to break the surface.

Thanks, I might need to try that for the last seed.... and doesn't the light harm the seed while it's germinating?

I haven't noticed anything wrong with them being on top of the light. All you need to do is put it somewhere warm though. The top of my Mars 900 is about 80-90 degrees so just about perfect for germinating. Obviously if you had a light that isn't hot that wouldn't work but I think you run an led too right? I really want to see you do the ripleys so hopefully you have luck with this last seed. If not I would send them a PM, they cost too much to have not a single seed germinate. @mephisto seems to have a good reputation and good genetics though.

Yes, but when I read you saying this yesterday, I tested the top of my marshydro 300w and it's not warm enough. I might add the other mars, which will make it warmer in the tent. The top of the Wi-Fi unit is about that temp, so maybe that's the best place. Thanks for your advice, I'll wait another few days for the current seed. I did tear the last cube apart after 8 days. The seed had opened, but the tap root was as thin as a hair and it was no more than 5mm long. Yes, I'd agree, Mephisto have great reputation, so it must be my error.

I really would encourage you to put your seeds someplace other than the Wi-Fi unit. I mean you really are right on top of radiation and you're constantly irradiating the seeds.. I put mine in a cup of water on top of the fridge it can't be more than about 70-74 degrees 36 hours later they have cracked and go straight into Coco.

I agree with jingo. The wifi router probably isn't the best place to put it. Cup of water is good too. I have a feeling that temp maybe was your issue. Maybe your cubes were too cold. I know a lot of times a heating may is used in conjunction with the starter cubes. I would t make it that complicated though. If the cubes aren't working for you, just try out another method.

everytime i had germ problems i think it was because of the cubes being too wet/dry... ever since i got that down my seeds have germed 100%
