Grow Mediums Cat Grows Green Poison by Sweet Seeds

same here brotha!
Hi Trip, I seen you over in the thread about Root Riot cubes (The Ronin way section) and wondered how long you would keep an open bag of cubes? When I was reading Grow Weed Easy, it said that root cubes dry out, so we need to throw unused ones away. That just seems ridiculous to me. I keep em in a sealed bag and then they're soaked before use, anyway.

A little mist is a good idea, cheers

I got some that are 5 years ago I keep them in a jar submerged in a light nutrient solution nice dark place. Pull them out when I want to use them they work fine.

Yer, I'll buy a plastic container for them this week

Day 7 Green Poison by Sweet Seeds & Ripley's OG by Mephisto

I was watering every day to a very slight run-off. The ppm of my tap water is 320ppm, so there is little room for nutrients. This is what I add to 1 gallon of water

Rhizotonic 1ml
Calmag 1ml
Flora Micro 1ml
Flora Gro 0.5ml
Flora Bloom 0.5ml @ 420ppm 5.8pH

I might be pushing the nutes a little, but plan to increase the schedule to 450/500ppm for the next week. I'll also only be watering them every other day during week 2. This is supposed to encourage the roots to go in search of water.

I had a slight issue with the leaves on both seedlings, which I think has already been resolved. The leaves had a strange light yellow colour in the centre and didn't seem to be growing much.

I realised the problem was due to the LED being too close to the seedlings. Marshydro recommendation for light distance from plant is...

Germination: 24 - 30" Veg stage: 18 - 24" Flower stage: 12 - 18".

I had the light 19" from the seedling. I've now increased the distance to 26"

I am supposed to be growing Ripley's OG by Mephisto on this thread, but the seed didn't sprout, even though the Green Poison popped up on the 2nd day.

I've sown another seed and its been on top of the wi-fi unit for the last 2 days. I open the container a couple of times each day to allow some air inside. Maybe they don't like the heat, I'm not sure. They are a lot more expensive than the Green Poison and the Northern Lights, so I'll be gutted if this one fails as well...:frowny1:

@Cat yes the LED was a little close at this stage im at 28-26" so you should be good now.. im thinking the leds being too close also led her to eat more resulting in some yellowing, if the yellowing dont go away or gets worse i think she may need a higher feed... they are looking great tho man!

The plant beside your wifi router looks like it might need a lil something @Cat !
:pass:
I germ in my final pot. Surely if the first seed failed, this one will not...
:bighug:
Me too, works great! Glad I don't have the hard water issue. But, I may have to supliment with chloride since I use r/o water.
