Grow Mediums Cat Grows Green Poison by Sweet Seeds

When I first started out growing I used rockwool cubes. Had a terrible time with them until I learned how to pH them properly. I wouldn't suggest you go without pH in those other cubes unless they come very close to the 6.5 pH.
I've also used Rockwool cubes and pH them every time, that's why I played it safe and only used pH adjusted water on the root riot cubes

Hi @Cat i am subbed

No need for all that ph nonsense lol.mine go into any cup with plain old tap water and into a dark kitchen cupboard after about 8 hrs they have sunk then into paper towel onto a plate with another plate on top with a towel wrapped around the plates then they just go into the tent on top of there pots less than 24hrs later we have tap roots then into the medium 2cm deep(makes sure the shells comes off)then after about 24hrs we have a baby popping through %100 success so far.also if you use the glass/cup method keep checking on them and poke the seeds under the water with your finger because you will find even if they are still floating sometimes they will sink with a poke.my grapey walter sank after 4hrs with a little poke so was able to go in the paper towel early and less than 48hrs from going in the cup she popped through the soil

Hey mate. Yes, I soaked the current Ripleys and it sank within the 4hrs. They don't like the Wi-Fi unit. The second attempt on top of LED looks successful. Thanks

:woohoo::woohoo:woop woop woop looky here.... after a painful labour, I can see a baby Ripley's head:woohoo::woohoo:

They obviously like the top of LED rather than the Wi-Fi. I've decided to move the Ripleys journal to the Mephisto section and will add the link later today. Thanks to everyone who had the patience to listen to all my groaning over the Ripleys

Woohoo, happy for you cat.
Thank you jingo, so relieved, but I'm not out of the woods yet, it's still early stages. The last two seedlings I placed on a sunny window, but it's not sunny, so placed them at the back of the tent.

Yes just put them in the tent because going from sunlight to led can stress the little babys
