The snipping barely phased them.

I took a guess at timing, thinking pistil will show in a week, and gave them a foliar chitosal treatment.

Looking at the pic, I should probably raise the lights a bit.

DAY 28
S T R E T C H begins

A few pistils showing in the rear plants, so the chitosal timing was bang on.

Next week they'll get the second pruning and defoliation.

VPD is still.in range.

Pistils, pruning, supercropping and tied down.

They went from preflower into bloom almost overnight!

Big day I know, but they are vigorous and I think they can take it.

Pretty much recovered from the abuse.

Increased feed to 900ppm.

Added Bud Candy, I had abandoned that in hydro due to disease but it should be fine in coco. We'll see.

This is my first serious try at coco. It is more forgiving in some ways, and almost as fast as hydro.

No automation yet. I have trouble getting up and down to rig it all up so I'm still hand watering.

Im thinking that I might just do coco from now on, for smaller autos anyways but if I want huge single plants fast, I've got hydro.

No res issues. Hand watering works just as good as drippers .......as long as you have the time. You will enjoy the coco less work than hydro almost the same results.

DAY 36

Watered them with infected nutes yesterday. By the time I noticed it was too late.

Flushed with hocl this morning. Probably close to 25% runoff. Hopefuly that does it.

After puting them back they got 500ml each of nutes and lots of Overgrow spray to help with stress.

They were still shiny but the lights were off for this time

Day 40
They got lots of defoliation. Last one I think. Steeled up my nerves and took lower buds....not quite lolipop.

A little more bondage to spread the branches away from each other.

Turned off extraction. Tried blasting the intake with a bit of CO². I'll give them an hour or so and turn the fans back on.

Don't know if it will make a difference, especially since it's a strain I've never grown but it likely won't hurt.
